Star Rune is a fast-paced action-typing platformer where every keystroke creates an explosion of movement—slashes, dashes, sparks, and ultimate attacks. Wield 12 Legendary Swords. Collect 120 Elements and use them to craft over 300 Magic Runes. Use those Runes to upgrade your abilities, defeat the Elementals, and save the galaxy from the Dark Wizard. 

Every Stroke = ACTION.

In Star Rune, every single stroke is rewarded. Explosions, sliced letters, falling enemies, treasure, dashing across the screen, etc... these are all performed by single strokes. This is especially important to kids/new typists who struggle to find one key at a time. But for those who type fast, you'll feel a rush you won't forget.

Beginner Friendly

Most attacks are automatically deflected. Big attacks reduce your points but add to your ultimate charge. Typing faster gives more rewards and higher scores (required to unlock the next level), but the only way to fail a level is to type an error during a Boss Fight. You can take a milliseconds or minutes to type a key. This creates a stress-free environment for new typists to learn/play at their own pace. 

Natural Typing

The movement in Star Rune is completely akin to real-world typing. You are not holding WASD to move half the game; you dash attack to move through the level. In addition, [SPACE], [SHIFT], [TAB], and [ENTER] are all integrated into the game in an intuitive way which mimics the same frequency of real typing.

Each level is tied to an Element from the Periodic Table. Defeat 118 Elementals to collect all 118 Elements. Use those elements to craft real chemicals, minerals, and alloys (Runes) that will upgrade your stats! The item descriptions for Elements and Runes give you insightful scientific and historical facts! Also, many of the names you encounter throughout the game are mnemonic devices for memorizing the elements of the periodic table.
