Our top community room picks for May!
It's another new month, which can only mean one thing! Time to look back at everything that happened last month. In case you missed it, we introduced a brand-new recurring section called Meet The Builders. In this first edition of Meet The Builders, we interviewed room builder Zesty Mordant. Of course, a whole bunch of excellent community rooms got released as well! So without further ado, let's dive into our monthly picks for May! (PS. We have a bunch of exciting new announcements coming up soon, so be sure to stay tuned! )
Who doesn't love to play some rounds of pool? Well, as luck would have it, there's a pool tournament going on at The Red Lion! The only problem is the billiard balls, as well as the key for the Old English Pub have gone missing. In this room by builder Mocklate Donkey, it's up to you to find the missing items and get the tournament going!
Enigmas of the Nile by GG3L is an incredibly polished looking room, set in an ancient Egyptian temple. This room stands out for its fun and intuitive puzzle design that probably won't have you doubting your puzzle skills for too long, On top of that, it's always fun to explore some ancient ruins, right?
Room builder GetOffMyBeard has become a bit of a household name within our community and his latest room 4 Privet Drive is a very interesting one! For this room, GetOffMyBeard took a very different approach by locking your character in place to recreate the feeling of a point 'n click adventure game! Before returning back to Hogwarts, you'll need to gather your stuff and place them in your trunk. Definitely give this one a try!
Our in-game Room Editor has gone through a numerous amount of updates since launch, providing our community with more and more options to optimize their room. Recently, we've been seeing several 'remakes' of classic community rooms pop up and that's exactly what Brengo did for The Scientist's Breakthrough! This room serves as both a remake and a compilation of Brengo's first room series, reimagined as a continuous adventure. If you've never played these before or want to see how they have changed, this one is an absolute must-play!
And that's it for May! As always, we hope you'll enjoy these monthly picks as much as we did! Want to talk to some of the room builders from our community or just share your enthusiasm for Escape Simulator? Be sure to join us on our official Discord or on our subreddit. We hope to see you there!
