Play a creature in search of souls to awaken its full power !

How To Play :

You have to catch the small flamming white orbs to charge your power bar while dodging enemy fire (with A).
When the power bar is at its maximum, you can unleash your power (with B) to break the roles, slash all the ennemy (with X), regaining life as your power is consumed.
See how far you can go in this hellish cycle !
The game is meant to be played on a Xbox controller and at a 1920*1080 resolution in full screen.

Xbox Controler Controls :

- Left Joystick = Move
- A = Dash
- B = Activate Power when the bar is full.
- X = Attack when you activated the power.

Keyboard Controls :

- ZQSD = Move
- K = Dash
- M = Activate Power when the bar is full.
- L = Attack when you activated the power.

It's better to avoid using the power on the border of the map, because you can get stuck there.

Break the Roles is the result of a 48h gamejam organized by my school I made alone.

The subject was "Break the Rules", but during the process I drift a bit from my idea and it don't fit the theme very well anymore.
My goal was to do something that seemed finished, so I tried to integrate feedbacks, sounds without having polish the graphics as I wanted.
I added 2 things from the original jam version : keyboard support and the score  of your last game on the title screen.

The music is Doom - BFG Division with a mix of other sounds found on Freesound.
(I hope Mac and Linux version work, I cannot test them)
