Story
Across the Glass
Across the Glass is a slow, atmospheric game about observing a world that reacts to your attention - Inspired by Little Inferno
You are alone in a small apartment.
There is a window looking out onto a distant city.
You cannot leave.
From inside the room, you interact with familiar objects—items that feel ordinary, personal, and insignificant. When placed outside the window, the world beyond begins to change. Not immediately. Not predictably.
The room remains still.
The world does not.
🪟 A Game About Observation
Across the Glass is not about destruction or progression. It is about noticing.
The outside world responds to what you release, how often you do it, and how long you spend watching. Sometimes the changes are subtle: a building lights up, weather shifts, a sound repeats. Other times, entire parts of the world vanish without explanation.
You are never told why.
🌍 A World That Watches Back
The city beyond the glass evolves over time:
Streets grow empty
Broadcasts become fragmented
The sky behaves incorrectly
Reflections linger where they shouldn’t
The longer you remain inside, the more the world seems aware of you.
🧠 Story Without Instructions
There is no narrator and no direct exposition.
The story unfolds through:
Environmental changes outside the window
Altered audio transmissions
Objects returning in unexpected forms
Small disturbances in the room itself
Meaning is something you piece together—or ignore entirely.
🕯 Themes
Safety versus stagnation
Distance as control
The ethics of watching
Comfort that becomes containment
Across the Glass asks a simple question:
Is observing enough—or is it a choice to do nothing?
🔚 Multiple Outcomes
There is no single ending.
The world’s fate depends on:
What you interact with
What you discard
What you refuse to engage with
Some endings arrive quietly.
Others arrive because you waited too long.
🎮 Our Vision
Across the Glass is a focused, intimate experience designed to be unsettling without being loud. It’s meant to be played slowly, thought about afterward, and interpreted differently by each player.
We’re creating a game that trusts the player to sit with discomfort—and decide what it means.
Across the Glass isn’t about what you do to the world.
It’s about what happens when you only watch.
