Story
🔥 What Is This Game?
This project is an original anime-inspired arena fighting game built around fast, technical 1v1 combat.
The goal is to create a focused demo that captures the feel of classic early-2000s anime arena fighters — tight movement, responsive controls, and skill-based combat — while introducing an original world, characters, and future potential.
This Kickstarter funds a playable demo featuring:
4 fully playable characters
A polished combat system
One arena
Local and CPU battles
This demo is the foundation for a much larger game.
🎮 Why This Game Is Different
Many modern anime fighters focus on spectacle.
This project focuses on control, timing, and mastery.
Combat is designed to feel:
Responsive
Readable
Competitive
Rewarding to learn
No bloated systems. No unnecessary gimmicks.
Just tight arena combat where player skill matters.
If you miss games where positioning, movement, and execution mattered more than flashy cutscenes — this game is for you.
🧍♂️ The Demo (What You’re Funding)
Your support helps us build a high-quality vertical slice, not an unfinished prototype.
The demo will include:
4 unique fighters, each with their own playstyle
Light and heavy attack chains
Guarding and guard breaks
A meter-based special system
Substitution-style evasive mechanics
A clean, fixed-camera arena inspired by classic design
A character select screen, UI, and polish pass
This demo will be playable on PC and shared with backers first.
🧠 Why Kickstarter?
This project is being built independently, without publishers or investors.
Kickstarter allows us to:
Stay independent
Build the game alongside the community
Prove interest before expanding the scope
Focus on quality over trends
Your support directly funds development — not marketing fluff.
💰 How the Funds Will Be Used
Every dollar goes into development.
Funding will be used for:
Programming the combat systems and camera
Character animation and rigging
Character and environment art
UI and menu design
Music and sound effects
A proper gameplay trailer
This budget is scoped carefully to deliver a polished demo, not empty promises.
🚀 What Happens After the Demo?
This demo is step one.
Once complete, it will be used to:
Expand the roster
Add additional arenas
Improve modes and features
Pitch for additional funding or publishing
Continue development toward a full release
Backers help shape the future of the game from the ground floor.
🤝 About the Creator
This project is led by an independent creator passionate about anime, fighting games, and building something original.
Rather than copying existing franchises, the goal is to recapture a feeling — and build something new from it.
This is a long-term project, and this demo is the proof that it can be done right.
🛡️ Risks & Transparency
Game development is challenging. Timelines can shift.
To reduce risk:
The demo scope is intentionally limited
No physical rewards are offered
No gameplay-breaking exclusives exist
Development milestones are clearly defined
Backers will receive regular updates and transparent progress reports.
