Pizza Kidd is a stylish, story-rich beat ’em up inspired by 90s anime, arcade classics, and gritty sci-fi. While most modern beat ’em ups are reboots or nostalgia grabs, Pizza Kidd is something fresh: a brand new hero, an emotionally-driven narrative, wild boss fights, and a combat system built to reward creative play—not just button mashing.

In the year 22XX, the world lay in ruins, ravaged by a pandemic so great that it had exterminated nearly all life on Earth. The mighty Santos Corps., a powerful agriculture research and animal food cloning facility, had harnessed its cutting-edge technology to experiment with de-extinction and to provide manufactured food and water treatment. But the results were disastrous. Both humans and animals fell victim to the most gruesome of side effects, many transforming into grotesque and menacing monsters. Now, in the decimated city of Filadelfia, home to Angela's World Famous Pizzeria, hordes of the most fearsome, ferocious beasts roam broken streets and scorched landscapes.

It's in this post-apocalyptic world that KIDD—the masterful pizza pie flipping martial artist and mystical blade wielding hero, steps forth to confront the nefarious super-villain, MANNY SANTOS. With his army of creepy creature clones, as well as a host of corrupt human soldiers, zombified ninjas, drone bots, militant scientists, and horrifying behemoths, the evil Santos poses a dire threat to what little remains of humanity. KIDD must retrieve the 8 sacred seed stones, and channel their power to enhance his gold medallion—his only hope of defeating the sinister Santos and saving the world, including Angela's World Famous Pizzeria, the last bastion of promise in a world overrun by horror.

Black Roze is Kidd’s older sister. A kunoichi shaped by mystic discipline, biotech trauma, and the weight of her own expectations. Her Mamushi Attack induces hyper-psychosis, a weapon she wields with equal mastery and regret. She is fiercely protective, emotionally guarded, and always watching over Kidd.

Once a decorated war veteran turned underground resistance* leader, Uncle Renai' is a hardened survivor of the old war that scorched the world and scarred his body. With a bionic right arm and a mechanical left leg forged from salvaged tech and enemy scrap, he now serves as a protector, strategist, and master repairer of androids, biotech, and wounded warriors (and dogs). *T.R.O.M. > The Resistance of Man

Caedin Leion—The mind that shapes reality. A blind, telekinetic prodigy raised by the resistance. His cube-based energy manipulation teaches Kidd balance and control. His feelings for Roze—and deeper secrets—complicate everything.
