Hey everyone! We are currently in the process of removing Lost Sunday Comics from Steam. The reason is that we no longer have the rights to display The Lost Sunday and Treasures, Thoughts and Trinkets. Both works can, however, still be enjoyed via the author channels. [previewyoutube=0H_1iqvqkss;full][/previewyoutube] We would like to take this occasion to thank all of you who have supported us in this journey. All the backers for The Lost Sunday Kickstarter campaign will still retain the book here. If you are one of them and did not yet get your access key, you can contact us and get one. However, Lost Sunday Comics will no longer be displayed on Steam so new players will not be able to find and get it.
Hello everyone! This Monday, we launched the Kickstarter campaign for Treasures, Thoughts and Trinkets by Ileana Surducan - a collection of 24 silent comics that bring a world of colour for your soul, a playful puzzle for your mind and a fresh perspective on everyday life. We made a pretty neat book trailer for it, which we are happy to share here:
[previewyoutube=i-_38J08zJ8;full][/previewyoutube]
This book will of course join the magical shelves of Lost Sunday Comics, with its own customised room. We also hope to print it in a luxurious, A4 golden inlays hardcover format so this is why we are on Kickstarter. It will become a beautiful book for people of all ages who enjoy a little bit of playfulness and optimism.
All Kickstarter rewards include access to Lost Sunday Comics and all its titles. If you already own the game and still wish to help us turn Treasures, Thoughts and Trinkets into an actual book, we encourage you to gift your complimentary Steam key to a friend who might enjoy our stories. Of course, the campaign's success will bring additional works in this magical library, and not only.
Can stories heal your soul? Treasures, Thoughts and Trinkets is a collection of 24 silent comics that bring a world of colour for your soul, a playful puzzle for your mind and a fresh perspective on everyday life.
Treasures, Thoughts and Trinkets is the next colourful adventure to be published in the magical comic book library Lost Sunday Comics. We also plan to turn it into an actual book, which is why we joyfully announce that in 7 days, we are launching a Kickstarter campaign. Join us!
For all of you that already own Lost Sunday Comics, the digital version of Treasures, Thoughts and Trinkets will simply appear in your game. We do hope you will also secure your physical copy, which is a beautiful hardcover book with golden inlays that will look gorgeous alongside the fairy tale inspired comic book about burnout, The Lost Sunday. This Kickstarter campaign is the only sure way to reserve a copy of Treasures, Thoughts and Trinkets, as we do not plan any additional print run.
Stay tuned for shiny new trinkets as we get ready and go live on Kickstarter. I cannot wait to share the entire campaign with you, which includes a gorgeous trailer and irresistible interviews with the author Ileana Surducan, and the Lost Sunday Comics concept artist, Maria Surducan.
Your Professional Dragon,
Laura
It's really a tiny fix but just in case you noticed Lost Sunday Comics updating - we fixed the Art Gallery and Slow Sunday achievements. Now, hopefully some of you will have another game with 100% achievement progress, at least until we add more of them to accompany the new books!
Which brings us to the fact that we are less than one month away from our new Kickstarter campaign for Treasures, Thoughts and Trinkets.
Can stories heal your soul? Treasures, Thoughts and Trinkets is a collection of 24 silent comics that bring a world of colour for your soul, a playful puzzle for your mind and a fresh perspective on everyday life.
On Friday, April 22, starting 5:30pm CET/ 6:30pm RO/ 11:30am EST, Maria, Ileana and I (Laura) will livestream and broadcast right here again. We may show an exclusive preview of our Kickstarter campaign - join us and give us feedback!
Hey everyone! I am very happy to finally say: achievements are here! The latest update brings the first set of Lost Sunday Comics achievements. From opening to fully reading The Lost Sunday, I hope you will have a little bit of pleasure discovering all 10 achievements, most of them added as hidden. And now that the system is up and running, each new book will bring even more achievements.
Hey everyone!
As I mentioned in the very first update published here, I started Pronoia because I want to bring utopias to life. There are many reasons that brought me to this point, but I think the underlying one is that I believe our natural human tendency is to be kind. I do my best to practice what I preach, which is why I am so very proud to let you all know that you can now buy Lost Sunday Comics with Kindness.
Hey everyone!
We are celebrating a little bit now because of all the lovely reviews you wrote to us here on Steam! As of yesterday, Lost Sunday Comics has enough reviews for a score, which brought us a significant increase in visibility. So we are having cake. Yay!
We want to thank you as in person as possible which is why we will be live streaming as soon as we are back from our current book promotion travels, on April 1st - no joke! While planning this event, we realised we never really told you much about us as a team in general, nor about our YouTube channel and all the streams we did so far. To fix this, we must first start with Nina:
This is a doll that Ileana made, because she is super talented, and she just cannot stop creating! Nina was the star of our last live stream, which we call Imagine Utopias:
[previewyoutube=e7M0Aoxl5f8;full][/previewyoutube]
Imagine Utopias are short episodes that we livestream and record, where we talk about all the utopias we made and where we disclose our World Domination Plans (tm). While Pronoia AB is composed of only me, Laura, I am extremely proud and happy to have been working with Maria for quite some time now. Besides Lost Sunday Comics and the printed comic book The Lost Sunday, Maria and I have also been collaborating for Zestrea, a marriage negotiation board game about ridiculous Romanian traditions, arranging weddings, and surviving Hard Times. We are also slowly developing Heart. Papers. Border.
Ileana is the amazing author whose comic stories Maria and I want to publish first. The three of us started to work together when we launched the Kickstarter campaign to bring The Lost Sunday to life. We feel we fit very well together!
As we mentioned briefly before, our next project in this constellation is a new comics book called Treasures, Thoughts & Trinkets. This is a collection of 24 whimsical silent comics that reimagine everyday life - with humour, magic and a touch of absurdity. Treasures, Thoughts & Trinkets is coming here in Lost Sunday Comics, and also starting May 9th, on Kickstarter because we want to print it.
So, we have a lot of awesome plans ahead, that go hand in hand with adding more and more magic in Lost Sunday Comics! We will disclose more of our World Domination Plans (tm) on April 1st, when we will live stream on our Facebook page and make sure to broadcast right here, as well.
Once again....
The time has come for Lost Sunday Comics' first update! This is a tiny one, with minor fixes such as improved front and back covers in both the book scene and the actual library, some page updates were we noticed that some chat bubbles were cut, as well as - well, now it also works on Mac steamhappy
Thanks to your absolutely amazing reviews, we are now focused on improving the reading experience. But I think I will hold off the release of it until we are also ready with at least a handful of Achievements! Meanwhile, Ileana made some super nice GIFs that I think you might enjoy! Here is one that is a little bit of a teaser for our next book, Treasures, Thoughts & Trinkets.
If you would like to Curate or review Lost Sunday Comics, do not hesitate to contact me. It is really amazing to read your reviews and we are all really, really happy to se that you enjoy our first story!
Hey everyone!
It feels so nice to finally see that The Lost Sunday can be enjoyed digitally here! We noticed some bugs and will soon update the application with some fixes. We are also working hard to prepare our Kickstarter campaign for Treasures, Thoughts & Trinkets, our new comic book that will also be available for anyone who purchased Lost Sunday Comics, here.

Hey everyone,
My name is Laura and I am the person behind Pronoia AB. I started this company because I find myself in need of hope, which I cannot nurture much with today's entertainment. Since there aren't that many utopias out there to relish in, I decided to bring some to life myself.
My career background is in video games and I assumed that is what Pronoia will produce, too. It turns out the Universe had other plans for me. The first utopia I published is Zestrea, a marriage negotiation board game about hilarious traditions and village life. And then came The Lost Sunday, a fairy tale inspired comic book about working too much. Both products have been successfully funded on Kickstarted and are available for sale on the Pronoia web shop (well, at least what I currently have in stock).

While working on The Lost Sunday, I deeply wished that this gentle and delightfully optimistic book could be available to everyone, everywhere and this is something very hard to do in print. Besides, this would not be the only comic book I'll publish so this will be a recurring problem to fix. I also knew all the limitations of offering digital versions of comic books currently available on the market. Plus, hey! I am a game developer.
So I came up with a crazy idea: why not put my game dev knowledge to good use? This is how the magical comic book library Lost Sunday Comics was designed as a game like app on Steam.
The more I thought about Lost Sunday Comics and the more I delved deeper in the digital comic book world, I became super excited by the idea that fans of video games and comic books might very well be the same people. Was I right? Are you one of us?
