We want more people to play and enjoy Fishards, so after careful consideration we think this would be our best move! There are no microtransactions or battle passes.

Fishards is a multiplayer only game so its very important that there are players online at any given time - if the game is free there will be more people who can play! Right now there are 0 players online at any given time which leads to a large amount of new players immediately refunding the game.

Hopefully this can revive our game and bring new people into the community. If you haven't tried Fishards this is your chance!

• Added 5 mini bosses to Training and Protect the Fish God - Mega Dashard, Iceard, Pushard, Grabard and Squishard!
  
• Added a "element queue" system when spell casting. The old system can still be accessed by selecting "auto clear spells" in the settings tab.
  
• Lowered the amount of kills necessary for some achievements.
  
• Fixed many bugs including the "stuck-5-meters-above-ground-bug" and the bug where certain element amount achievements weren't stored.
  
• Arcane walls work again.

Fixed dummy issue in tutorial.
- Added dummies with 100hp.
- Fixed bug were several arcane walls are created.
- Fixes and improvements to Fish Ball - it's not possible to push players outside the map anymore.
- Increased max players to 12.

Yesterday, during Fishards Funday (an event we have in our discord every Sunday), we released a patch with some much needed bug fixes and improvements...

We also added a mini game called Fish ball!

The mini game is far from perfect in it's current state but still a blast to play with friends.

This patch focuses on balancing the classes by making weak spells stronger and more interesting.

We also added a new mini game called "Fish Ball" where players try to shoot a ball into the other team's goal by using magic!

Our next update will be the Optimise and Bug Fix Update. It's goal is to make the game better based on feedback from you guys! It'll also contain a fun mini game + wacky lobby settings.

• Nerf to Camping Carl class with longer cooldowns to dive and rock dash. Minor changes to heal too.
  
• Optimised Protect Gooey God by spawning less but stronger enemies.
  
• Bug fixes to the cosmetic/ achievement rank system.
  

Long story short, we thought our full release version of the game wouldn't have to be reviewed by Steam since our demo is reviewed already. (It is the same project, but with a few tweaks)

However, that is not the case and we since we somehow managed to miss the glaring send in build review for release- button we'll have to push the release date forward to a date where it will be reviewed.

It could be reviewed as soon as Monday but we decided it would be best to release the game after the halloween sale as the store page would be flooded with awesome deals that would take away attention from Fishards.

We apologise to anyone who looked forward to the release and we really hope we can make it up for you with an awesome release in a bit more than a week from now, November 3!
