Our Hand is Empty, followers
Without delay, we want to end this year with an important game update and get better right now.
Fixes:
- Text skipping now correctly completes the door scene animation.
- Candlelight no longer obscures glossary window text.
- Some words are italicized, as in the original text.
- The sounds have been cleared of noise, and the flies now only sound where they fly.
- Other minor code optimizations.
Steam Workshop Support
We created a special mod loader, which will give initiative admirers of Dostoevsky the ability to upload their translations, giving the whole community the opportunity to play the game in any language of the world (even no longer existing, for example, in the original pre-revolutionary (imperial) Russian, which is already available for download). This innovation was created thanks to amazing people who offer their help with localization. Your native language isn't on the list of supported languages and you'd like to fix it? We're looking forward to your work, and we're sure players from all over the world will be grateful for your efforts.
Steam Cloud Support
Now your game saves will always be with you thanks to cloud storage.
Now these are real saves from St. Petersburg.
Expanding the Glossary
The vocabulary of the glossary was considerably extended. If some words still cause you questions - let us know in the forum.
Play with Bottles
Bottles now make different sounds when you point them.
Can you play a nocturne on them?
Feel free to let us know what you think about the update on Twitter and don't forget to get the game for yourself or your friends at a discount until January 5!
See you at the next meeting.
Happy New Winter!

Our Hand is Empty, followers November 11 was the 200th anniversary of the birth of Fyodor Dostoevsky - the great Russian writer, publicist and philosopher. As many of you have already noticed, on this day Secta has prepared a gift - a game adaptation of his short story "Bobok". Bobok is unknown to a wide range of readers. After publication, it was criticized and was not understood, it was not the work expected of the creator of Crime and Punishment and The Gambler. But today's readers are interested in Dostoevsky in many ways: were getting detailed reviews with quotes and analysis of the text, screenshots where you capture interesting statements and comment on them with your friends, were watching streams, where you read and discover a new work from a familiar author for yourself and others. It's a real celebration of literature that we made together. What's the meaning of this bobok? If you or your friends haven't played as almost Dostoevsky - 11% discount is valid until November 18, hurry up to add real literature to your Steam library and celebrate the author's anniversary with us.

1873. St. Petersburg.
Not the most prominent literary man was dubbed in newspapers as a madman. His portrait with two phenomenally symmetrical and lively warts was to blame! Unheard of human stupidity surrounds the writer.
Wishing to divert himself, he enters a funeral where he begins to hear the voices of undead people... Maybe at least they are smarter than living ones?
- Unknown Dostoevsky
One of the most atypical and wierdest works of the great Russian writer Fyodor Mikhailovich Dostoevsky (author of Crime and Punishment, The Brothers Karamazov). Black humor, satire, grotesque, and a cross-section of the author's entire oeuvre fit into a short story where fantastic madness goes hand in hand with documented reality. The game is great for those who want to experience the original text. - Glossary
The handy hint system prevents you from being confused by terms and easily fills in the missing knowledge. It is more convenient and informative than footnotes in books.
