Hey all Scuffed Bhoppers! Today I'm providing an in-depth look of all new content we're bringing to Bhop 2026, and legacy features that are returning! First of all THE CAMPAIGN We have showed off a small snippet of the campaign so far and you guys seem to like it, so thanks for your feedback! Music Playing Before I get into Campaign Specific mechanics, let me briefly explain the new Music system. In the game, there is no longer a music selector, instead on first start up you will be greeted with this screen
We now have non PeePeePooPoo music for people that don't like it, but you can stick to listening to the classic PeePeePooPoo OST. All songs are currently on shuffled all of the time, so you might have to SKIP to your favourite song. The all new MUSIC PLAYER can do that.
(dont mind the low quality ss) Press "/" key to open the music player. It will show you the Song Name, Artist, and a Progress Bar of the way through the song. You can skip a song at any time by pressing "n". If you guys want an option for full forwarding or rewinding 10 seconds let me know :) I will make it so that you pick the volume on first start up, and it will automatically apply everytime you open the game, so you don't have to deal with opening settings everytime you open the game. Music Choices ALL SONGS FROM THE ORIGINAL BHOP SIMULATOR RETURN FOR 2026. This includes seasonal music such as the "Spooky" we had for Halloween 2021. However this will NOT include music we introduced for Limited Time Crossovers (we will have some of these in 2026) Campaign Management In the campaign you can have 3 SAVE SLOTS, so you can store different saves with different progresses. This is useful if you have multiple people playing the game on one PC, or you want to [strike]go back to get a different ending[/strike] In the CAMPAIGN, you have 3 options. - Start A New Game (will write to a new save) (only available if there is a free save slot) - Load Specific Level ( This option for each level unlocks AFTER you have beaten it in the campaign) - Load Save We hope you are all excited as us to see the BHOP 2 CAMPAIGN!!! Tracking Objectives + Secrets We have added a UI for tracking current mission progress and secrets within a level. Each campaign level has 3 DIFFERENT SECRETS TO FIND. Some come in the form of a square that you run into to pick up. Some other ones come in the form of a complete different room that you get teleported to with something funny inside :) You can toggle your objective view with "g". This brings up this menu
It displays what you have to do to progress (no waypoints because the game is scuffed) And also displays your secrets (and yes there is an achievement for getting all of the secrets) A sneak peak of next Dev log for BHOP 2026 - a working inventory system for the CAMPAIGN - RACE MULTIPLAYER MODE - more REMASTERED bhop 2023 maps That's all for todays update.
