I could make the game run at 15 FPS internally instead of 30 FPS

I have this whole super cool piece of code that i made
that moves the character extremely smoothly even if the physics calculation is slow
by moving the character'S position between the previous position and the current one depending on how long it has been since it has moved
right ??
And then someone who's astute would be like
hey
if you increase the delay between physics calculations, doesn'T that just mean that I'll get input delay
since it only shows positions between the previous and current one, so the longer the time between two frames, the longer you character has to wait for the next position to be calculated to move because it has to wait for a full physics calculation before it can begin reacting
at 60 FPS that's like, 4 full frames, 64 miliseconds
that'S where I make my smug face(Imagine i am making the smuggest of faces, no visual aid this time buddy-o! Shout to to my pals out there who use screen readers but can'T see images!! I will do my best to accomodate you in my game) ( i will probably still post cool or funny pictures in my next post though )
I can just like, calculate the next frame instead of the current one

this is the whole point of the super fancy netcode that lets you hit people in real time without having to wait for a server response so you can have a good experience with no lag, instead of like, one of those shooters that let you shoot people behind corners because of ping
