Although, it comes with a little delay, we are proud to announce the Release of the Multiplayer Update for Grocket. It took us a while, but now we are here and you can now connect with friends and people around the world. Here are the new features waiting for you:

Game Modes

In the new Multiplayer Games you can compete in four modes:

• Deathmatch
• Survival
• Flags
• Race

Every mode comes along with different challenges and ways to play all together.

New Shooting System

To compete and fight against others, we created a new shooting system with lasers, bullets and beams, bringing the competition and skill level in Grocket on another level.

Powerups

During your matches you can collect Powerups, helping you to gain advantages over your opponents and to win the games.

• Shield
• Energy
• Heart
• Beam

New Skins, Boosts and Explosions

Winning or playing Multiplayer Matches will make you unlock new customizations in the shop, getting a fresh nicer look. Hope, your opponents won't give up for free though.

Reworked Profile Panel & Titel Screen

The Update brings a brand-new Profile System to the Game. Easy, clean and fresh. The Stats are sorted in Groups and the Profile Button is more centralized focusing more on the Stats of each Player. These Stats are also shown in Multiplayer, where you can battle with your friends for more kills.

Donator Leaderboard

Yes. Now everyone can finally see the Player who support us the most. We hope you enjoy it:)

New Tags, Stats & Achievements

For Multiplayer new Stats and Achievements are coming to the Game, wich also unlock new Skins and more customizations.

Mac Support

We are happy to finally support our gamer friends on MacOS with the new Update.

Tons of Bugfixes

As always, we did our best to fix all bugs noticed, but you all know the game and of course we will try our best, to fix new bugs. So, feel free to report them to us.

The Update

After a lot of work and a long time without any updates, we are thrilled to share some information about the upcoming multiplayer update with you. It will include the option to play with and fight against your friends in four different game modes:

• Deathmatch
• Race
• Capture the Flag.
• Survival

Shooting Module & Power Ups

Multiplayer is also coming with a brand-new shooting system for the rockets, as well as different power ups to gain advantages over your opponents. The wait will be worth it ;)

In this update, we fixed major bugs including:

• broken star times
• visual glitches in Gravityfields
• lasers and other level components
• leaderboard issues
• weird/broken storymode- coop- and freeplay levels
• pause menu bugs

We finally implemented the ability to change your control bindings. You can simply do so in the main menu under Options->Controls In addition, we made some minor and major bug-fixes:

• level 32 not completable
• level 60 camera upside down
• leaderboards initially not loading
• stats display mixed up
• titlescreen music not looping

Big Update & end of Early Access

With leaving the early access, we are publishing a big update to our first big version of the game. Here are the main features:

• New chapter for the Storymode
• A new unlock system
• Profile panels and new stats
• Custom Player titles
• New Achievements
• Improved Scoreboard
• Major Bug Fixes and Improvements

h2] Closer look on the changes:
New Storymode Chapter The final Chapter called Motion brings new Levels and challenges.
Profile Panels New and old stats are now accessible in the improved Profile panel, in addition to Custom Player titles which you can unlock by beating the boss levels. The Profile panel will be especially important in preparation for the Multiplayer update in the future. That way, you will be able to compare your progress with friends and challenge each other.

New unlock system A new way to unlock Levels is coming to the game. Use keys if you are stuck and want to get to the next level. You can buy these keys with coins in the shop.
Along with new Achievements, we did major Bug Fixes to improve the game and your experience. The global Scoreboard is finally fixed and improved, since it now works based on the amount of collected stars of a user.

We are soon reaching the final Phase of Grocket's Early Access Status. New content is coming to the game and we are getting close to the Big Multiplayer Update (which obviously includes more than that). Therefore, we are going to switch the game from free to paid soon.

Until now, the stars had a bug so that everyone had 0 stars. Now stars work again and are shown in the main menu, shop, star-path and in the level overview appropriately.
