Hi, humans! cathspaw Today is Zodiacats (and Devcats) 1-year anniversary! lovecat Exactly 1 year ago we released our first game, with little hope of success but lots of love within. We always wanted to share our love for felines and raise awareness for adoption and rescue of cats, these meowmazing creatures that had been unjustly labeled as hateful beings. Luckily that wrongful mindset is changing and cats are ruling the internet (and hopefully the world!). We'd also like to announce that Zodiacats is coming to Nintendo Switch in January 26th! The Nintendo Switch port was made by Silesia Games.

Hello humans! 2022 was a great year for us! We've released 4 games, a minigame, a comic book and a lot of aditional content for those games. Not to mention the other 4 games we are working on right now! That's a lot of work, so we need more paws to help us.
This is Leo, Devcats' new intern. He was found all alone in our yard, feist as a little feral cat really is. We rescued him and within 5 days he bloomed into a sweet little boy, purring loud every time we pet him. If you follow us on instagram (@luadogato) you already know all that. We named him Leo and he still need to be approved by all of us cats, but most likely he's going to stay with us permanently. ~~~~~~~~~~ We created a special bundle for the end of the year! CATS LOVE BOXES

We had plans for releasing Cats Love Boxes this month. We really believe in this game but the wishlists are WAY bellow than our other games. sweatcat That's crazy of you, humans... It's a game about BOXES! How can someone not be excited about that? crycat2 Because of that, we postponed Cats Love Boxes launch to the end of the year.

COZY ROOM

That's the game we're willing to launch next. We don't have a release date yet but we hope to launch it in September.

A CASTLE FULL OF CATS

A Castle Full of Cats development is going well and we believe it will be a worthy successor to A Building Full of Cats. winkycat A demo will be available on the October edition of Next Fest, so you can play the game before buying it.

SUDOCATS

ZODIACATS UPDATE

This update brings you a glossary: some astrologic explanation on each term we used in sign's attributes. There's 2 new puzzles that work as an ending for the game. These puzzles are only available after completing the zodiac wheel. Another change with this update is the new color scheme for the light puzzle. We made it less bright so the details in the background and cats are more visible and pleasant (Virgo will no longer be a problem! lunar2019grinningpig )
Before and after Finally, since Zodiacats was our very first release and we had no budget at the time, the Russian, Simplified Chinese, Japanese and Korean localizations were just machine translations. After the A Building Full of Cats success, we decided to hire translators to make this right. Please, send us a message in the forum if there's anything wrong with these localizations, since we can't understand a thing. papyruswacky We also included a new language: Traditional Chinese. Hi there! Its been 4 months since we launched our very first game as Devcats and we are very grateful for the players reaction. Weve traced plans for Devcats in 2022 and wed like to share them with you! ;) Theres one factor thats really important to a game on Steam: wishlists. Thats why weve been revealing so many games in advance. We need to have as many wishlists as we possibly can by the day of each game launch, otherwise said game will be completely lost amidst all the other current releases. So, we politely ask you: if youre interested in our games, remember to add them to your wishlist and follow them, so we can stand a chance among the others. ?
Even if you dont wish to buy the game right at its release, having considerable wishlists and followers helps us to gain some projection inside Steams algorithm. COZY ROOM

This is our main announcement of the day! Youve just won a free game!! Cozy Room is a virtual room where you can enjoy the worlds most amazing companionship: Mr. Fofio! Decorate your room and do whatever you need in this relaxing environment. Customize your room and unlock decor items by solving puzzles that tell the rescue story of our dear Fofio (latin word for cute and fluffy). You can also build your own playlist, directly from your computer, with your favorite music. Cozy Room is planned to be released in August/September.

Despite Zodiacats being our first release, Sudocats was our very first game we had some setbacks in the project and thats why there were so many things done wrong. We solved all Sudocats problems in the first month and now were updating something strongly requested by you all: real cats pictures! Below, an example with our CEO Judy:

STEAM NEXT FEST

Well be participating with A Building Full of Cats demo. We have just a few weeks to finish the game, which is going to be released as soon as the festival is over. As were just five cats, we need every paw we have here (darn it, we wish we have thumbs!!!) We had plans to launch a demo for Cats Love Boxes for this festival as well, but it seems were running out of time. Were still working on it, anyhow. Its release is planned for July.

THE BLUE CAT

We hear you, humans! Some people are asking for a darker mode. As cats, we sometimes forget how limited human sight really is so we didn't plan for a night mode, but we are making this happen. Here's a message from Catherine:
