Our latest VN is now released!
The Hepatica Spring is a Nordic fairytale-inspired, fluffy fantasy story full of magic! It's a lighthearted romp with no bad endings--just relax and enjoy the adventure!

Were super excited to announce that the very first playable version of Red Embrace: Paradisus can now be accessed via our Patreon!

Our plan** for RE:P is to release monthly Patreon updates for the alpha, until were ready to enter Steam Early Accesshopefully sometime in early 2023. The funds from Patreon will go towards RE:Ps development, and the community will also be able to significantly contribute to the final game through feedback/suggestions/playtesting.

Red Embrace: Paradisus (RE:P) is an immersive vampire sim/narrative RPG. Inspired by Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines, Disco Elysium, and the Shadowrun series, RE:P seeks to create a dark, fully story-driven (no combat) vampire experience with branching narrative and multiple endings.

In this Gothic story of deep bonds and chilling mystery, a young girl named Esther ventures deep within a forgotten forest.

There, she seeks out a potential cure for her mysterious illness:
a life-leeching plague known as the Pale Cachexia.

But when Esther meets Seina, who lives all alone in a towering manor, the two girls are drawn to each other in a tale of friendship, sorrow, and bitter loneliness.

Their story is shadowed by the dark secrets of the manor and its cemetery, which haunts Esther even in her deepest dreams.

The Mac version of SCU is now available! Due to difficulties that Unreal Engine has with Mac builds, it's taken some time to get here, but you can now experience the mall outside of Windows.

We've also implemented a few minor bugfixes to try and fix some fullscreen issues, brightness/graphics quality behavior, and other small things.

[h2]Release Notes[/h2]

- An experimental Mac build will be available on our Itch.io page, but is not confirmed bug-free
- The game is made in Unreal Engine and will require higher computer specs to run smoothly than our previous games
- Playing with sound is highly recommended
- Very partial controller support is available! Currently, you can look and move around with a controller but cannot navigate any user interface items
- Content warning: This game contains bright lights and flashing images that may cause discomfort or seizures for players with photosensitive epilepsy. It also contains sequences of eerie gameplay and minor jumpscares/startling moments, but it is not a horror game.
