These posts are usually about Spaceward Cosmic Conflict, but today I have something a little different to share.\n\nThe creative journey actually started with Spaceward Defender , a Flash game that was cancelled in beta. That game then evolved into a novella, which later became a screenplay for Spaceward Cosmic Conflict. Along the way, I got pulled deeper into writing which has now led to my first published novel. In a sense, Ive come full circle, the stories Ive been passionate about exploring in games are now out in book form. Well, one of them, at least...\n\nMeanwhile, Ive been working on a custom game engine, technically 3D-capable but lacking some features, and to further develop and polish it, Im making a remake of Spaceward Defender. So this creative journey has really come full circle twice!\n\n[/img]\nVery early screenshot from the remake of Spaceward Defender using original flash assets as placeholders.\n\nThe Demons Heart is the first book in a dark fantasy trilogy (Romance of the Infernal). \nIt tells the story of an ancient demoness accidentally summoned by a mortal, the forbidden bond that binds them, and the dangerous choice between reclaiming Hell or discovering what it means to love.\n\nIts dark, seductive, and emotionally charged, with conflicts between Heaven and Hell. And while its a wildly different story, it comes from the same creative core: my love for immersive worlds and complex characters.\n\nDisclaimer: Spaceward Cosmic Conflict has always been a passion project. Its a huge game for one person to make in their spare time, so progress will be gradual, but Im still very excited to share updates along the way, however sparse they may be.\n\nIf youre curious, you can check out my novel here:\nThe Demon\'s Heart on Amazon \n\nAnd if you do end up reading it, please leave an honest review on Amazon, good or bad. Every review helps!
