First off, why the delay? I finally got COVID-19. The silver lining here is that most of the teams for the next few games already work remote, and Kittens in SF is basically 98% finished. Which sounds relatively easy, but I have never felt this lethargic and aimless with any other cold or flu that I've had the chance of catching. There are maybe fifteen minute windows where I feel good enough to work on the game, but then those pass and I can't even think straight. Even with those fifteen minute windows, my body is constantly fluctuating between extreme hot and extreme cold. I can't talk, I can't smell, and while I still retain my sense of taste, it's dull in most areas but extremely punctuated in others. It's super weird. But wait, it's not all doom and gloom! While the game may be delayed, it won't be delayed that long, as I'll be out of isolation next week and plugging away to get you, the general public, your yum-yums. At the very least, I'll probably take this time to finish up work on some future store pages so we can announce some new products in the interim. Who knows. If you can, please get vaccinated. I have a mild case, but knowing it is a mild case, I would not want anyone to experience a full-on case of COVID. Because I can't even begin to imagine what that feels like. I also am still deep in recovery from a prior surgery, so these two factors combined are..... not great. The Halloween Retail Season sale is still on if you feel so inclined.

We all make choices in life. Except most of those choices are not within the context of the apocalypse. Meet the staff of the Department of Pre-Apocalypse and Post-Apocalyptic Affairs: Arthur, Iris, Oliver, two of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, and others. Their job is to make sure the transition from one way of life to another is as smooth as possible... you know, as smooth as an apocalypse can be. Their latest assignment is a doozy - a new Great Flood that is going to wipe the planet clean. A daunting task for anyone, and these anyones just happen to have a metric boatload of emotional baggage. Will they get their collective stuff together in time to pull of a perfect end-of-the-world?
That's up to you.
You get to make the decisions that will shape our heroes. You get to choose how they will react to the moments that will stay with them forever. Taking each of their lives into your hands, you get to make their choices for them, for better or for worse. It's part adventure game, part visual novel.
How will you end the world?
