-Fixed an issue with a command that could create erroneous portraits on the screen. -Fixed an issue with the ledger appearing and reappearing in Chinatown mission. -Fixed an issue with an NPC not being removed.
Hi, We're upgrading the game to 3.6 version of AGS, which basically means better rendering, better support for resolutions and better support for keyboard and mouse! The savegames have been tested and should work, and shouldn't break. If for any reason there's an issue, feel free to report and opt in to beta oldversion, by using the password "oldversionold"
Basically, for all the builds two things are done. 1) Every builds now features the same version number [that should be 1.0.2] 2) More importantly, you can now name your character "Eliza, Elisabeth, Felicity, Belinda". Unless your name is "Eli" or "eli" the game will now allow you to contain 'eli'.
This has been verified for a while now, but we wanted to give some time to the announcement, because well, I mixed some versions so there was a bug. Fixed, but there was a bug. Anyway, moving on [WE'RE PROFESSIONALS], we're very happy to announce that Unavowed is STEAMDECK Verified and you can take the adventures of Eli, Mandana, Vicki, Logan, and most importantly KayKay everywhere!
Anyway, we hope you continue to have a good time, and that you enjoy the game!
-Fixed the issue regarding the endless loop on the railing in Chinatown, reported here on STEAM. -Savegames are still UNBREAKABLE. [To my knowledge :)]
Patch notes: -Adjusted bad endings -Savegames will NOT break. More explicitly: We created a small update to the game today. Choosing a "bad" ending no longer results in an instant game over. The game will auto-load an autosave which takes you back to before the Big Decision and let you try again. This "game over" has been in the game for almost four years, so why change it now? I shall explain, although be warned the explaination is a tiny bit spoilery. A large number of players went into the "bad endings" without realizing that they could make a different choice, and got understandably angry and upset when horrible things happened to their character. This is a definite design fail on my part, and after long deliberation I have decided to rectify it. If you encountered one of these endings and assumed it was canon, then I can only apologize and say it wasn't my intention. Thanks! -Dave et al
Hello everyone! At long last, we have an update for Unavowed that fixes some important bugs. Specifically, the "Mandana and Logan in the storage unit" bug and some of the party achievements not unlocking properly (these will retroactively unlock if you already met the requirements). We also updated the engine to take care of a tinting problem on the openGL renderer. And best of all: these fixes do NOT break saves. We've also put up a build for Linux!!! Thank you everyone for your patience. All your kind words mean the world. -Dave, et al Changelog: -Fixed vent glitch in storage unit room. -Added new tracking system of player party choices. -Loading older saves will patch them and grant the achievements properly. -Fixed OPEN GL RENDERER issue with tinting and transparencies. [NOTE: Whilst most saves PRIOR TO v0.9.0 will still load fine, there's a minor chance it might not result into achievements unlocking. We have not encountered such saves during our testing of this patch, but there's a potential they exist. If that is the case, please contact us directly at admin@wadjeteyegames.com, and title the mail "NEED SAVE ACHIEVEMENT FOR UNAVOWED" and we'll get you a save, if you don't want to replay the game.]
