Embark on a turn-based roguelike zombie RPG with a shorter scenario that immerses players in the beginning of the zombie apocalypse. With 11 unique characters, more than 15 enemies, and three expansive maps, the gameplay is challenging, and permadeath adds to the intensity.
Form a team of survivors, traverse the area maps in search of shelter and supplies, fight zombies, and decide the fate of your crew. The game explores the apocalyptic atmosphere through pixel art and characters that speak to each other, showing polarization in views. Will different opinions prevent them from reaching their goals?

Future plans
Similar with making combat much more consistent in the previous update, we plan to look into adjusting the balance and the scaling of enemy strength and character abilities.
This means that the primary focus will be around adding variation and different micro mechanics in the game rather than adding additional characters, lore etc (this will come later)

For limited time special halloween cave level has been added to the game with end-game boss "Pumpking".

We heard your feedback and we have a patch for you!
New build
- Targeting has been reworked.
- Now all characters has different types of targeting, including frontline, backline targeting. Example: "Chant of Soul" from Veno now applies recovery effect to lowest HP ally.
- Targeting frontline will target backline if all front line targets were removed and vice-versa (backline targeting will attack frontline if the targets in the back does not exist).
- All characters now has improved targeting, and reduced randomness. For example - instead of attacking all random targets, attacks random frontline or backline target (one of).
- Fixed issue where effect with match block duration was not removing properly.
- Effects now has groups. Bleeds are no longer ignored or stacked upon applying instead strongest effect will replace the weakest, removing the current one.
- Fixed bug where effect icon didn't sometimes remove after effect was removed.
- Removed TMora character and added Hope as replacement small visual changes) to fit expected lore and naming.
- Balance changes for Wolf, Skeleton and Demon boss.
- Balance changes to Nakar and Zulan.
- QoL improvements, textual tooltip fixes.
General

Combat
Dear players! As per your response on game release, it quickly became clear to us that game needs more clarity and consistency combat wise. This patch addresses this. Basic attacks now give match blocks, while special abilities consumes them. You can equip any abilities now, but their order will now matter greatly as matches will be consumed based on that order. Find our more in our description: [previewyoutube=WNloMVpM9YY;leftthumb][/previewyoutube] This change took a lot of time and a lot of experimentation, but we are now confident that combat feels much more satisfying and look forward into finally adding more content as the game develops.
Input
Based on feedback we changed the input system that blocks now can only be dragged into direction and move happens right away. Input where selecting block and then clicking to other in order to move elements has been removed.
Other Changes
- Improved randomness for match blocks. New blocks are less random: they rely more on the blocks falling down
- Fixed issue with blocks sometimes switching randomly
- Added UI indicator when matching input is blocked while there are on-going actions
- Reverted additional element showing while there are no selected special abilities. Each match block has an equal chance to show up now
- Effects applied on the targets are now applied right away. [changed from the end of the turn]
- Effects are now removed at the end of the turn (after all abilities/attacks are performed)
- Fixed issue where match block removal trigger did damage for 1 tick. (no damage no longer applied, as expected)
- Fixed faith giving animation upon enemy death
- Improved animation timing for special abilities
- Fixed animation for effect show & hide
- Added UI to display leftover resources at the top-left corner
- Fixed issue where attacks that consumed elements did not perform abilities upon next wave arrival
- Added UI indicator for performing ability

This patch includes:
- "Fire Slash" (Zulan) damage scale increase from 120% to 130% and bleed apply chance from 40% to 60%
- Thunder (Zulan) damage scale decrease from 120% to 80%.
- Multi Shot (Gretel) damage scale decrease from 120% to 80%
- Ghost, Wolves, Skeletons receive HP and base stats downscale
- Added UI indicator to display current & max wave per room.
- After completing the current content the game will reset character stats, faith and finished rooms. Abilities and unlocked characters persist.
- Fixed issue where Stand united (Nakar) shield values persisted between rooms.
- Fixed issue where game was working unexpected when tooltip was active but the character or enemy killed. Now tooltip will disappear.
- Fixed Chant of Power (Veno) not working as intended.
- Lowered base prices from 100 to 80 per ability and incremental 10% (previous 20%) per owned ability to allow room for more experiments
- Fixed some of the wrong tooltips and descriptions.
- UI adjustments to scale properly on larger numbers.
- Fixed Skeleton to attack random target as described in the tooltip (before attacked the closest enemy)
- Mind+Soul now grants 1 shield value per 5 points combined (previous 10)

Combat mechanics
Your party has equipped abilities. When you match the elements needed to trigger them - the character casts the ability, if he is alive. If more elements are matched, the ability effect is increased.
Development Direction change
After playtesting and brainstorming the direction of the game, we've decided to stick to the classical match-3 rpg formula. The progression is going to be linear and there won't be any permadeath. You may attempt to complete a level any number of times, while accumulating the currency and upgrading your characters. Even if you can't complete the level - you are still going to get stronger.
