PREVIOUS SAVES ARE NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THIS VERSION I changed the way the character saves in order to fix the backpack issue. You must reset player on the title screen or have your player get killed for compatibility and certain fixes to work for builds prior to June 16. This build may is buggy and may have quite a bit of glitches. But, I added quite a bit of content. As follows: 8 July 2015 Current BuildID 688111 *fixed running over some raiders *added more roving raiders *fixed being able to destroy vehicles with gunfire *added player death dismount on vehicle destruction *added several more explorable buildings *added more hit points to vehicles *more vehicle spawns *changed length of day 60 minutes = one full day *spaced out time of weather changes *fixed two hand weapon use *fixed drop backpack on death *no more tree chopping with bare hands - go find an axe *set up new ports and servers to address network issues *changed some network configuration and updated network library *animal spawn in fixed. Animals produce hide and raw meat. Need sharp melee weapon drawn to skin animal. *simple crafting menu enabled. Not all crafting items work properly. Particular building forts. Press "V" key to open crafting menu if you have the proper resources. Press "E" key to place crafted items. Forts only save on server. Does not save on single player. *changed the way to pick up items and search containers. A hand will appear to pick up the item. Press "E" key to pick it up. An indicator will still show that you are near an item. *Added last save location. *fixed bouncy raiders. **IMPORTANT. If you have performance issues, ie crashes or low FPS please let me know and I will fix. I have not tested this new build for performance issues. Still working. Didn't make it in. -adding ability to cook meat -adding button to separate UI from game world -Roving raider AI breaks down at times. -adding name tags for players near -added more shelter triggers - generally if it rains u need to find cover to prevent the shelter stat from decreasing. Some covered areas might be missing this. Please let me know Still Need to get to. -Optional Spawn at last save or town area. -Storage containers need fixing. -Sniper rifles don't zoom properly in first person -Players inside vehicles at times don't sync properly -Sometimes weapons don't show on first person or are out of place. -Sometimes first person and third person conflict -At times too many footstep sounds are played -Voice chat only works when you tend to spawn near players. -Items placed in the bottom panel don't work after save. One game: Survival: Barren Roads.
Nuclear weapons have the left the world barren and scorched the earth. Survival has never been harder for mankind. Resources are scarce as life has left this world. You are forced to constantly move and scavenge the next area for resources. Rivers are dry. Many of wanderers never survived the icy nights as the moon crosses the sky. Roam a massive streaming map featuring ruined highways and cities. Survive and outwit other survivors, like yourself. Scavenge, loot, and explore during the day and find shelter during the freezing nights. Beware of the beasts and unknown as the sun sets.
