Devlog for Beta 1.6 of Nuclear Drifter

Welcome to another installment of Nuclear Drifter! I bring you the latest game update - Beta 1.6. This update introduces many new features and enhancements that I hope will enrich your adventure in the post-apocalyptic world of the game. Changelog:
- Added new backgrounds in the prologue, endings, death screens, loading screens, and main menu.
- Added a new weapon: M16 Rifle.
- Added interior for Kent's house and Ian's house in Moolow Isles.
- Added a new option to exit terminals by pressing the start button and selecting "turn off..." from the new menu.
- Added the ability to preview the dollar bill by clicking on the dollar item icon in the inventory.
- Added two-player poker in the casino.
- Added a bulletin board in New Tolham with a poster advertising the casino and a "Closed" sign.
- Added car wrecks near the metro entrance, near Foodmart, and several wrecks in random places in Old Zealand.
- Added a new terminal in Kent's house in Moolow Isles with notes from the general about the occupation of Moolow Isles.
- Added money display in the dialogue panel.
- Changed the appearance of item icons: Mutapple, Healthpak (slight color change), RadKiller, RadKiller Duo, Antidote, Can of beans.
- Changed the appearance of cow skulls and ribs lying in the sand.
- Improved the appearance of the human skeleton lying on the ground.
- Changed the appearance of the Moai statue, atomic bomb stuck in the ground, and energy poles in Farlands.
- After disarming the atomic bomb in Moolow Isles, scrap remains on the sand.
- The casino in New Tolham is open from 9 pm to 6 am.
- Cyclopes now have random drops.
- Improved the appearance of the metal oven when cooking meat or fish.
- The player starts the game with 50 maximum health points (HP).
- The Extra HP perk adds 10 maximum HP for each perk level.
- RadKiller removes only one level of radiation instead of completely removing it.
- When using cigarettes or getting dehydrated at the communication console, a "CAUTION" button will appear. When approaching the boat without oars in Big Sandy at the beginning, an "INFO" button will appear at the communication console. The same will happen when approaching the FoodMart poster in the empty uranium warehouse. The "INFO" button will also appear when significant information about the ending choice appears after leaving the nuclear power plant.
- Beer adds +5 HP.
- The bandit in the bunker under the bandit camp, who previously dropped 15 AK-47s, now drops 1 AK-47 with 15 rounds.

Nuclear Drifter is an open world, singleplayer role-playing game with a turn-based combat system. In the game we play the role of a farmer who has to find a new water source. His well has dried up and his animals have nothing to drink. The farmer leaves home and sets off on an adventure in the post-nuclear world, where many dangers await him. The place of play is the mythical continent of Old Zeland. The action of the game takes place in 2289.

The game Nuclear Drifter has over 20 missions which are commissioned by various NPCs located in different places on the map of Old Zealand. The player has extensive dialogue options with NPCs. The game has various locations: 5 settlements including one placed on an island, bandit camp, abandoned subway. Different types of enemies are placed on the map: rats, poisonous scorpions, wolves, strong cyclops, zombies, hairy rhinos. Game has day and night system - at night some houses close which simulates that NPCs sleep. In game you can choose one of 2 factions: USA soldiers or settlers from Old Zealand. The choice of faction is dependent on the level of reputation in the given faction. The game has several interesting features such as cooking meat in a stove or on a fire, repairing devices, disarming bombs.
