Steam Strategy Fest Demo Now Live!

The Outer Zone: Survival Tactics Demo now live as part of Steam Strategy Fest! As part of the festival we have a limited time demo running from August 28th to September 4th! We've been working hard on adding new locations, mechanics, enemies, and classes, with lots more to come! We would love any feedback or thoughts on what could be improved! The demo focuses on scavenging gameplay and features:

  • 3 unique classes
  • 3 locations - Residential, Hospital, and Office
  • Over 100 unique levels
  • 7 enemy types

Lead a caravan of survivors through a world on the brink of collapse. Scavenge for resources, form bonds with your fellow survivors, and make difficult choices in this turn-based strategy roguelite. Will you survive long enough to reach the Outer Radius?

Features:
  • Engage in unique turn-based combat. Will you stealth your way past, or will you kill for what you need?
  • Travel towards the Outer Radius. Explore various locations and meet other survivors as you search for the resources you need to upgrade your caravan and gear.
  • Equip, craft, and use dozens of items from baseball bats, kevlar vests, stun guns, and molotov cocktails..
  • Form bonds with your fellow survivors, learn more about their pasts, and uncover more about the world around you.
  • Manage your caravan: who will get rations, who will go out to scavenge, and who you will take in or cast out?
  • Experience something new every playthrough: randomized events, survivors, and maps means no two playthroughs are the same.
