This deluxe edition features tons of content including new challenging levels, quirky items to collect, story segments, a brand new speedrun timer, and previously released content update "Kohlrabi's Ruin".



Wunderling DX tells a touching tale of breaking free from the pack with a desire to change the world, even with the odds stacked against you. What starts as a retro game love song soon becomes an unexpected thrill-ride with twists, turns, and alternate endings. All wrapped up in a humorous script from the wild mind of Alex Faciane, accompanied by Ratvader's decade-bending soundtrack.



Wunderling DX releases on Steam on March 8th, 2022. The update is free for everyone who's already purchased the game.

• Communication will be through Discord or Email.

Version 1.2 is finally also out on Nintendo Switch! Here are the patch notes:

Item Randomization
You can now randomize your equipped items through the Collections menu!


Miscellaneous

• Fixed 5-3 floating trampoline bug
  
• Dash the Cow now has some more things to say before rewarding you with a diary page
  
• Dash the Cow will now clearly tell you how many chests you need to pass
  
• Minor dialogue tweaks and fixes
  
• Various minor level tweaks and visual clarity improvements
  
• Rebalanced the audio levels of some outlying audio effects
  
• Changed the item Eyeglasses to Eyeglass
  

Some of the achievements such as Walkabout Wipeout and Rockrose Riot didn't trigger correctly. They got unlocked by just completing the level or not being unlocked at all!

Now they are triggered correctly after beating the level 100% and moving past the "level finished" screen. Apologies for everyone who had this issue, just replaying the level should be enough if you already got everything.

Fellow Wunderlings, we need your help!

We will release more levels soon and more levels means more treasures, meaning, more items! We've seen lots of love for the crazy costume combinations on Twitter.

But what if you wanted that final piece, like a unicorn horn, goatee or a cheese hat? Your dreams can finally come true!

We want your help to come up with more costume ideas for some of the content to come, just add what you want to see in the game and we might add it! We're going to pick the best ideas that are actually doable in pixelart.

If your item gets picked we will add your name to the item in the game, isn't that cool!?

We hope that everyone is all right in times like these, stay safe!

We have gone live with version 1.1 of Wunderling and here is the patch notes:

Boss 1 (Wunderdragon)

• Changed charge attack mechanic from mashing to hold
  
• Fixed possible softlock issue
  

• Stability improvements
  
• Fixed an issue where custom button mappings would not be correctly loaded at game start
  
• Reduced performance impact of certain animals
  
• Spikeballs blink slightly less often
  
• Fixed being unable to jump out of portal after respawning on certain levels
  
• Minor level improvements and visual clarity tweaks
  
• The Wunderling menu cursor is no longer hidden when navigating menus using the mouse
  
• The Steam notification now appears in the top-right corner
  
• Where possible, the game is now automatically paused if a controller is disconnected or the Steam overlay is opened
  

The wait is over and Wunderling is finally ready for you to play and enjoy!
