What we've been working on

We have had a whirlwind of a week with the Steam Next Fest! We spent numerous hours last week testing the game. A lot of the bug fixes previously implemented have been re-tested with most of them being marked as fixed! Only the confusing FPS setting issue remains. Other than this, we got many more cubes completed, now 60% of the 20 puzzles have been successfully finished - only 2 puzzles have led to things to correct. [olist]

The save file for the 3x3 Void Cube was marked as completed after closing and re-opening the game when 2 blocks weren't in the correct place

The 2x2 Mirror Cube has identical pieces which leads to the puzzle looking complete when it technically isn't [/olist] The save file issue will take a little digging to find the cause but the 2x2 mirror cube is being corrected by slightly editing the 3D model of the blocks.

What's Next?

In short, more QA and Marketing! We have spent the start of this week refining our marketing plan for the build-up to release. We are prepping and/or beginning our contact with news websites and content curators so keep an eye out for potential posts about Who Shuffled My Shapes from other sources! Who Shuffled My Shapes?

Your shapes have been shuffled and it’s up to you to fix them! Get your puzzles back in order by twisting, turning, and spinning until all faces are flat and the same colour.
Sounds simple but it’s not. With some of the simpler puzzles offering over 43 quintillion possible configurations (that’s 43,000,000,000,000,000,000), finding the single correct one will be a challenge!

Shuffle the cube again once you're done and try a new combination you need to crack!
