Greetings everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Summer is in full swing, as indicated by the 117 degree temperatures I'm currently experiencing. Whoever thought it was a good idea to build a major city in the middle of the desert... that guy is evil. Anyway, that's not what you're here for. You want an update, right? Well, here we go! I've been able to get the first three scenes of Chapter 8 written, and will be starting the rendering process tomorrow! I'm really pushing hard for that 12 week cycle, and so far, I'm sticking to it pretty well. I'm really hyped for getting this done, which is helping. Now that the rough outline is done, I can say that there will be less branching in this update than there was in Chapter 7. That's not to say it won't exist. Several of the Chapter 8 scenes will be dictated based on your previous choices. Just not quite as many. We will be seeing the return of a character you interacted with earlier in the game as well. Technically, there are two possible. Which one you get will be based on previous choices. For those of you on the harem path, you might be happy to hear that I'm actually planning to do the first full group scene with the primary people involved. That's gonna take a long time to animation, but damn it should look good! Maybe the main character will use some of his special abilities to make things even more interesting? That's it for this week. Next update will include things like render counts and actual numbers to give a deeper understanding of progress.
