Hi everyone! We can hardly believe it, but were only two weeks away from the release of our next game, "Monster Prom 4: Monster Con". You heard that right: were releasing the game on April 24th! The release date was announced in a new trailer shown at the MIX Spring Game Showcase, organized by Kinda Funny and Media Indie Exchange. The trailer teases a lot of new content for the game: characters, plots and special art, as well as the new comic mechanic that will play a significant role in the narrative. In the leadup to the release, we will also be participating in the Galaxies Showcase, streaming 17th April 2025 on Twitch. You can check out all the relevant info here. This new game has a main roster of 6 Romance Options, including fan-favorite Zoe and not-a-fan-favorite-but-that'd-be-too-mainstream-anyway Liam! There's also a goofy slime, a mimic who prefers to cosplay rather than fully shapeshifting, an ex-imprisoned evil overlord... and a clown. Last year we released the first trailer. It is very likely a 2nd one releases this month (not confirmed; but still: very likely). And after that we are aiming for a release on Spring... that's mere months from now! Welcome everyone! Today we bring a surprise: new content! Well, first and foremost, we're doing huge deals for all the "Monster Prom" games and DLCs. • Accessible font (which should work with text-to-speech software)
• Dyslexia friendly font

FAN TRANSLATION MODTOOL This is a modtool that allows people to (individually or collectivelly) do fan translations. You get a document with the game's texts and you can write a translation. Remember we created a channel in our Discord server just for that. The idea is there you can find other people interested and team up. This modtool is available only for "Monster Camp". Depending on its performance we might explore releasing it for "Monster Roadtrip" as well. Keep in mind right now it's in a beta stage, so it probably has errors. Feel free to share your thoughts on the Discord server. These days we will be looking at the modtool's performance to find errors and fix them.

Hi everyone! Today we released the August Update, also known as "End of the Road".
This update is HUGE. It's so big we must say no one should use this as references for future updates ever. "End of the Road" must be unlocked. The way of unlocking it is rather simple, so probably many of you will have it unlocked it by default. Triggering it? That's another story. Triggering this content might take some tries and definitely some time. But we think it'll be worth it! It's important to note the content is tied to a Trigger Warning. Once unlocked, "End of the Road" must be activated on the menu, and there you can read the Trigger Warning. The tone of it can get heavy at times, definitely heavier than "Monster Roadtrip" usual tone. But we'd say this is not the heaviest content the Monster Prom franchise has ever seen. "Monster Prom" already has plotlines that are probably heavier than this one. But back when "Monster Prom" we didn't have a Trigger Warning system!
We've poured lots of work and love into creating this content. We truly hope you enjoy it. We'd LOVE to see your thoughts and reactions. APRIL UPDATE IS HERE! We just released the April Update, which includes a number of things: New Hitchhiker: Finn New Feature: Sticker Packs
New Hitchhiker: Finn Who's Finn? Why he rings a bell? He's the poor dude whose main job is carrying Mr. Pappas chair. But it was about time Finn caught a break... and maybe you can help him in doing that. Find Finn at the Bust Stop and get to know him better.
New Feature: Sticker Packs Soon the time of big content updates will come to an end. That's a fact. Big content updates mean the ones with Locations and Hitchhikers. But we want to keep throwing updates at you (even if maybe NOT one per month... that's just a lot). What we can offer you once all the content has been served? Sticker Packs Sticker Packs bring around 10 new stickers each. You can check them in the Gallery or use them in the Sticker Studio. We also want to hold a couple contests where the prize will be proposing your own idea for a sticker! (: We actually did for the April Update and 3 winners proposed ideas that became 3 new stickers. Hooray!

MARCH UPDATE IS HERE! We just released the March Update, which includes a number of things:

• New Location: The Adorable Village
• New Feature: The Phone Call
• New DLC: Vicky and Brian as Hitchhikers!

Let's check all of this!
New Location: The Adorable Village Welcome to the Adorable Village. This Location includes three events and not one but FOUR new NPCs! It also has some nice new art assets... like the Froggy Iron Maiden. Kawaii!
New Feature: The Phone Call We added a new QoL feature... it's the Phone Call! On the Rest Stops Info Board (the place with the Map) you can now call any of the hitchhikers to ensure they appear at the Bus Stop if you go there on the next Rest Stop! It takes one more Week; but you can 100% find any hitchhiker you want! This is a way for players to removing RNG at the cost of an extra turn. Surely a delight for completionists and people who just want to romance Damien for the 50th time in a row.
New DLC: Vicky and Brian as Hitchhikers! We released a new DLC that allows you to pick up Vicky and Brian as hitchhikers. A great way to get to know them better... and even to romance them! You've seen these two undead hotties again and again... but it's time to see them under a new light! As with all hitchhikers, each Vicky and Brian come with...

• 1 Passive Effect
• 4 Conversations
• 1 Deep Conversation
• 1 Road Event (with exciting new non-model NPCs!)
• 1 Date Ending
• And many zany bubbles!

New Feature: Sticker Studio Another cool fact about Monster Roadtrip's February Update? We're releasing a new feature: Sticker Studio. There you can create cool scenes by meshing together the different stickers from the game on one of many backgrounds. Keep in mind this is a sort of "beta version". Expect some bugs and errors. We will work on polishing it and improving it a bit more! This is an entire new feature we were very excited to include in this game. After creating so many charming stickers, we had to give them another (cool) use! Feel free of reporting bugs or errors on our official Discord server. And ofc, we'll love for you to share your creations! Please share them! Bring them to social media or to our Discord server! We want to see!
New Feature: In-game Achievements Last but not least, we added a small QoL feature: now you can follow your achievement progress in-game. Look for it on the main menu! This should make easier and fancier to keep track of your achievements. We also hope this way more people will get curious about the many achievements to achieve! How many of 'em have you gotten already?

Happy holidays! We're releasing now a new DLC and a very special update for everyone. The new DLC brings Amira and Oz... as hitchhikers! Yes, you can now meet and even romance these two. Get ready for conversations and events that will provide more lore and character. It's time to get to know them better. There's also a free update. The main course is a whole new hitchhiker you can meet in the BUS STOP. It's none other than Adrien, the valiant merknight. Adrien's conversations will give you much more information about the Merkingdom. Huzzah!
We're also introducing the Great Glorious Gacha. From now on, playing Monster Roadtrip (and especially witnessing new content in your runes) will make you earn PRANK TOKENS. This currency can then be used in the meta-shop, as coins for the Great Glorious Gacha. This magic machine will randomly give you a prize, which are for the most part beautiful content for the gallery.
And with the Great Glorious Gacha, we also bring the last missing piece of the Gallery: SKETCHES! Sketches can be unlocked through the Great Glorious Gacha. They are super cool and provide a sneak peek behind the scenes. You can get to see discarded designs for existing characters and even some content that was never implemented in the game! Go unlock all that juicy art! NOTE: you will get a bunch of PRANK TOKENS retroactively if you've been playing Monster Roadtrip!
There's the achievements too. We're implementing them! The art/icons of the achievements aren't fully done just yet. Please note: for the time being a number of achievements will use a placeholder as the main art, but we will update that quite soon. We just didn't want to delay this feature because of the missing icons. IMPORTANT NOTE: purely narrative-based achievements are not retroactive as of now, and unfortunately you will need to achieve them again. Finally, there's the Steam stuff! You know: trading cards, emojis, badges... They are not released as of now, but they should be out in the following days. Go collect them! FINAL NOTE: the nature of this update will delete the last save state. This does NOT mean you will lose progress. It just means that if you had a run saved you won't be able of resuming it (and you will need to start a new run).

Hey, everyone! We come today with a new update. This includes:

• A first iteration of the GALLERY. Some content is still missing. You should be able of auto-unlocking all content you already saw.
• The MANUAL. It's a friggin' long comprehensive guide explaining almost all the systems in the game. it's wordy AF. It's not a must-read if you have gotten the gist of the game; but more of a place where you can go and consult anything you are not sure about.
• A brand new location: the "End of the World" Summit. A wicked place where villains gather. Be ready to meet 6 returning NPCs who weren't present in Monster Roadtrip till now (and then some other NPCs that were). Excited?

And that'd be all! Here's a fun fact: today power on our building went out and releasing this was an ordeal. It might be there's errors. We will fix them during the following days. Hope you understand! We hope you enjoy it (:

HALLOWEEN UPDATE As part of the STEAM SCREAM FEST, this game is getting spoooooookier! On this Halloween, we're adding a brand new location: SIMON SOUPS! It includes new events, a new NPC, unique art for each playable character... and something else. ATTENTION! If you're brave enough, go and play it. If spooky is not your jam, that's valid too! There's a new option in "customize" to disable the added spook of this location. But beware: checking it sorta spoils the whole thing. So if you want to brave it, dont check IT!
This is only the first of a few LOCATIONS we will add post-release. Keep tuned: there's more to come!
