Hello everyone!
We are already on the final stretch to release the full version of the game v.1.0. But before that happens, I've decided to release another update that introduces some gameplay improvements and a bit of new content.
At this point, I would also like to ask you for one thing: if you have played Ultimate Ragdoll Game and enjoyed it, please consider leaving a positive review on Steam. It will greatly help in the future sales of the game after it exits the Early Access phase, which will happen very soon. Thank you!
Now, let's go over all the new features in the game:
HOTBAR
From the very beginning, the game had a hotbar, but it lacked any visual representation on the player's HUD screen. Now, all saved shortcuts are visible on the bar at the bottom of the screen.
NEW BLOCKS
Update v.0.9 introduces two new blocks to the game: Door and Light Source. While browsing through your creations on the Steam Workshop, I noticed that maps often include buildings where doors are represented by holes in the wall or solid blocks blocking passage. Now, players have automatically opening doors that can be customized with any color and texture. The Light Source, on the other hand, will assist in illuminating your constructions.
CLIMBING SYSTEM
This is a feature some of you have requested; now players can climb high blocks, adding more realism to the entire movement system.
IMPROVEMENTS
The game has also received minor enhancements, such as automatic detection of the player's language and screen resolution on the first launch. The ragdoll collision system has also been improved. From now on, AI characters will fall to the ground if thrown into them by another ragdoll or object moving at an appropriate speed.
