Hello people! I am writing to inform you that it took about a month, but finally, the release of the first episode of the second season on Steam was approved! However, the game launch will not be as I expected or wanted, and it may affect the future of the updates here, I explain below: A) I was not allowed to release the game as early access, and this brings a lot of inconvenience. To make it early access, they asked me for all the adult content of the whole season to review it, which I don't find sense (I don't have it, I have only developed episode 1, isn't that the point of early access?). Because of this, the solution they offered me was to sell each episode as DLC. This is not what I wanted and makes everything much more complex. If it were early access, I would just put a price to the game, and every time I had an update, with a simple click of a button, I would make everyone get updated, however, being DLC, each DLC has to be approved by Steam so it will bring more delays to the launch, plus I have to create each episode as DLC, put a price, it is also more uncomfortable for the players, etc... I have seen many games of this style that are as early access, I don't understand why they don't allow me to do it? But to be able to publish it, I have to do what they tell me. B) Season 2 of the game comes with a new music player and 100% original songs; I have the whole soundtrack of the game I published on Spotify, and in the game, I had put different buttons that lead to my Spotify page. However, for the Steam version, I was asked to remove all the buttons that went to Spotify, so I removed all the buttons on the start menu, Jennifer's smartphone, the music player itself, etc. (After removing these, I retested the entire game to see that everything worked fine). C) I had to change the name of the game from: "Innocence Or Money | Season 2". To: "Innocence Or Money | Season 2 | Episode 1". I decided to do this myself so that players would not get confused and know precisely what they are buying. D) I modified the Steam page of the game, you will see that it no longer says early access, and all the texts that appeared indicating this have been removed. E) The game had a special set of texts at the end for Steam players explaining how the early access would work, all of that changed, so I also removed that from the game. F) The price of the game will also change, I will release episode 1 with a much lower price and then price the different DLCs. To be honest... I'm quite frustrated with this release, I love the content of episode 1 of season 2, and I'm sure the vast majority will like it, but the changes necessary to be able to release the game are frustrating and, in my opinion, unfair as you don't have to look far to find games of this style that are early access, however they have made it much more complex and uncomfortable for me. At one point, I thought about stopping the launch here, but I know there are a lot of people here waiting for the game and encouraging me to get it. Creating each episode as DLC and waiting for each one to be approved before being released results in a lot of extra work and delays in the releases. What I once said that the releases would be done on all platforms together will no longer be done. I hope you understand the reason for this. It's very unfair that other people have to wait because of all this. I hope to be able to release each episode here, but if I see that there are too many delays and the process takes too long, maybe I will have to group episodes together and do fewer releases; I don't know at the moment what I will do. It should be a moment of joy as I will finally be able to post the first episode of the second season here for everyone to enjoy and continue with the story; however, due to this whole situation, I am more frustrated than happy... But what else can I say... I hope you at least like this first episode of the second season. Something that worried people on the forums here was if the content of the game is changed, rest assured that all the normal story content is included, the needed changes were more on a technical aspect, and since I made the Steam store page in +20 languages I had to change all the stores. I told everyone on the forums that I was going to do my best to post the first episode here, and I've kept my word, here it is. I wish a great weekend to everyone!
