The wait (for the wait for the wait) is over! We're proud to announce our launch date in this mini-trailer:

As specified in the video, we are releasing on September 27th, 2022! This is just a month away now, so make your plans and preparations for jumping into Nuublandia.

We have chosen to not follow a "big bang" launch schedule. Genfanads release isnt meant to be the be-all-end-all of the games development. We'd rather launch a smaller game sooner and get real player feedback as it's going along, letting the game prove out and grow slowly rather than a big burst release. We have refined our process of weekly updates over the past few months, and have weekly updates planned out for the first 4 months already!

[h3]Beta Update: The Warriors of Oz[/h3]

The last content update of the beta is finally here! Being our capstone quest, this introduces a longer-than-usual path where you take on the classical story of the very first Isekai protagonist -- with our own twists and turns. Work with Dorothy to assemble the team, meet the wizard, and take on the wicked witch, finally finding the end of the yellow brick road!

Not to spoil too much of the surprise, but therell be plenty of new places to explore, enemies to kill, and NPCs to annoy. We cant wait to hear what you guys think!

[h3]Countdown to Launch[/h3]

There will also be plenty of events coming up this September! Here's a quick rundown of everything you'll be seeing from us this month:

1. Weekly blogposts featuring team interviews every Monday. For next week on September 5, expect an interview from a member of our game design team!

2. Quizzes and games run in the server every Tuesday from 12 pm - 9 pm PST, to earn more Discord perks and rewards like special colors, exclusive roles, and the abilty to add your own custom emojis to the server. Plus, top participants will be entered in a giveaway to win a Beta Key!

3. Wednesdays are reserved for small devlogs released to our Twitter @Genfanad, detailing the progress of the game ever since the beginning.

4. If you haven't gotten tired of it yet, there will be more quizzes and games run during Thursday, again from from 12 pm - 9 pm PST!

We'll be handing out all of this content for every week until launch, but that isn't all...



We've got a Stress Test coming up this September 10th, 11am PST! We're inviting everyone to log in for an hour of gameplay (and hopefully, not a lot of crashes). This won't be the last of our stress tests, so expect more from us in the coming weeks!

Aside from everything we've mentioned, we're also planning on a Two-Week Buddy invite that will give current players the ability to invite up to 2 buddies to a 2 week Beta pass. Though, this will be happening a few weeks before the Beta ends, so stay patient!
