• We fixed an issue with the cursor: prior to this patch it did not correctly follow the position of the mouse pointer or the right analog stick (when using a controller) once it reached the edge of the screen, locking the cursor in that position for a short time.
  
• Minor bugs fixed.
  

• A graphic restyle of the main menu is foreseen.
  
• A modernization of the controller control system is planned, allowing the movement of the sticks at 360 instead of the only 8 directions available and improving the use of the control buttons.

Spooky Festival makes its debut in Asteroid: Pre-SEASON with game version 1.1.4 from October 14th to November 7th 2022!
Collect pumpkins, skulls and zombie heads to earn Spooky points to exchange for Halloween-themed rewards!



New cosmetic items: here are the Banners!
Banners are new cosmetic items that can be obtained from Events by completing missions and purchasing them from the Shop.
With the Spooky Festival Solo Challenge Event you can get 2 Halloween themed banners!
Banners are displayed every time you open the menu or when you join an online lobby and can be easily changed from the Garage!



Icing on the cake: a global test for Asteroid Online is coming!
Asetroid Online is Asteroid's online multiplayer mode scheduled to launch later this year.
In this mode it will be possible to play with a friend or a stranger by connecting in the same room to explore space together, fight in the Black Hole Raid to get rewards, compete in the PvP Arena, exchange items and much more.
In 2023, the possible number of players in the same room is expected to increase from 2 to 4 players.
We will also aim to create an MMO room shared with all players, but for now let's start thinking small!

The global test for Asteroid Online is coming this November. We invite you to follow us both here on Steam and on all our social networks such as Twitter, Discord and Instagram to find out when it will be available to the public.

Here are the Asteroid: Pre-SEASON v1.1.3 patch notes!

• Added "Return to title screen" button accessible from the game menu. This will allow the player to easily return to the title screen without worrying about having to close the game. We took the opportunity to solve the problem related to the Options, previously not accessible during the game session and which could only be consulted from the main menu. For the moment it is still like this due to some compatibility problems with some settings: to change them during the session, just go back to the title screen, change the Options from the main menu and resume the adventure.
  
• Added system alerts regarding game updates and server-level maintenance.
  
• The "Survey" function has been added to the extended menu. This feature will allow players to receive free rewards by completing short user experience surveys. The surveys are fully localized in the English language. In the future, exclusive surveys may be proposed for specific geographic areas.
  
• The social icons of Alestore Inc. have been added to the main menu that refer to Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and Discord.
  
• Minor bugs fixed.

Here are the Asteroid: Pre-SEASON v1.1.2 patch notes!

• Fixed an issue with the Shop: prior to this patch, items were not changing daily as expected.
  
• The loading screen has undergone some changes. A slideshow is now visible showing news, Events and other key information related to the game during initial loading when Asteroid is launched from the client. The loading bar has been moved to the bottom right.
  
• Added the Nautical License accessible from the game menu by clicking on the profile banner at the bottom left. From here you can view player related information such as the Pilot (username), adventure start date, game time, enemies eliminated and more. The section is constantly updated and we intend to give players the opportunity to customize it.
  
• Improved the resolution of visual damage counters that appear when an enemy is hit.
  
• Minor bugs fixed.
  

• We are investigating an Event related issue. The "Star Collector" Global Challenge Event would not correctly count the stars collected by players, resetting or completely changing the counter number shared with all players.

Here are the Asteroid: Pre-SEASON v1.1.1 patch notes!

• Fixed an issue with the daily log-in that prevented players from moving after closing all notification windows and redeeming daily rewards.
  
• Added "Audio" section in Game Options. In this section, you can change the volume of the game music and sound effects.
  
• Added "Information" section in Game Options. In this section it will be possible to view important information such as the user's Asteroid ID (a unique numeric code necessary to identify the player and which may be required in case of support), the game version installed on the system, copyright information and the Privacy Policy, accessible by scanning a QR Code from a smart device.
  
• We have made a graphic restyle of all the main icons in the menu.
  
• Extended single challenge event "Moon Stealer" until the release of Asteroid: The Burning Planet. Visit the "Events" section within the game menu.

Hi, I'm Alessandro, the developer of the game, and I speak on behalf of the entire development team at Alestore Games.

We are pleased to announce that Asteroid: Pre-SEASON is now available to the public and is free to download on Steam with in-game purchases for 64-bit Windows and Linux operating systems!

Asteroid has been in development since 2018, when we were still beginners with software development.
In short, it was a bit of a gamble, a kid who was 12 at the time and now 17, saw this game grow with him, along with the dream of being able to create an indie video game studio.

This dream is becoming a reality every day, and in addition to Asteroid we are preparing many other projects, some already announced and others not.

In any case, we want to ensure lasting support for Asteroid, offering players constant free updates to keep the game and its community active.

Dear travelers,

Asteroid: Pre-SEASON is the start of the season of Asteroid: The Burning Planet without including some of the features expected at launch such as access to the planet Vuur and the Story mode.

It will then be possible to play freely to prepare for the arrival of the new season by carrying out Black Hole Raid battles, Black Hole Raid Max, quests and more.

This decision was made following some technical problems in the development tools that will be resolved shortly. Furthermore, this will allow us to work and improve the quality of the Story mode and the planet Vuur at the launch of the game.

At the same time, we have no intention of postponing the official release of the game.

Therefore, this also serves as a global test and to give the possibility to play even to those who had not participated in the past beta tests.

Although this is a "test" season, your game progress will still be maintained from Asteroid Pre-SEASON up to Asteroid: The Burning Planet and subsequent seasons.

Missing features will be added gradually with free updates.

If you have already purchased the Asteroid - Expansion Pass DLC, you will still receive the bonuses and content provided by the purchase.

Asteroid: Pre-SEASON will be released on August 26, 2022.

The functions NOT accessible at launch will be:

- Story mode

- Access to the planet Vuur

- Wish

- Superspace (as it is unlocked during the progression of the Story mode and is used to easily get to a planet already visited)

- Celestial Gift

- Controller support and touch screen controls (These two features will be added in a free update shortly after the release of Asteroid: Pre-SEASON)

- Asteroid Online (online multiplayer mode coming by 2023)

All other features announced and confirmed in both trailers and press releases will be available starting with the launch of Asteroid: Pre-SEASON.
