Hello alchemists! While our lore update isn't ready yet, we've been working on other features that should bring more life into the game. Since we're happy with the state the game is balanced right now we began working on ways to make it more challenging for those who've already completed this early access version or to go easier on those who are struggling with the mechanics or who may be new to the genre. We made yet a few more changes that might solve this problem but, since our main goal is to not have anyone lose their progress, this time we implemented a backup system while we still investigate the cause of the problem. If you're playing on version 0.7.7 or higher and face this issue, please follow these steps:

Hello alchemists! As always we're prioritizing bugfixes and balancing on our way to the game's full release, and on this latest update we're bringing the following changes:
Some players on the Mac/OSX version reported the game was crashing on startup after the latest update (0.7.3). This was fixed and shouldn't happen again, but please feel free to report any other issue here or on our Discord server. Thank you for your comprehension!
- A bunch of enemy balances and fixes - Switched memorized rewards between levels 1 and 2. Lowered level 1 threshold. - Update on mastery thresholds - Fixed recipe list after getting the status Confused - Upgrades on turbo mode - Faster death animation on some enemies - Fixed some sfxs not playing - More UI adjustements and typo fixes
For Mac/OSX players, if after the latest patch the game crashes on startup, you'll most likely need to reinstall the game, due to some internal changes on the app for these systems. Don't worry that this will not affect your saves! We are sorry for the inconvenience, and we hope this won't happen again!
