Fix a few crashes and some text in the character information window
More character voices added, still a fair few to go though Some of the dialogue (especially for demonstrating voice acting lines) don't have the Japanese lines added yet
A fairly large update this time
Unfortunately, as the voice work hasn't been completed yet, I'm having to delay the release of this, hopefully no later than August 2025
I believe everything is sufficiently advanced enough to say that February 14th 2025 will be the release date for Love's Labour's Lost There will extra stuff in the game at release, including some more FMV The story is now fixed, and just currently waiting to finish off the voice acting.
General bug fixes In addition, voice dialogue for older Grendel is nearly complete
Various exception errors have been fixed. More character voices have now been added (specifically young and older Grendel), although it's nowhere near complete yet. In addition, an extra scene has been added in the Playground section/ Later on full character characters will replace the silhouettes for the XO and sailor
Fix (both) exception errors in the "Mr. Nibbles" story News reader/presenter/compere voice was pointing to the wrong directory. This is now fixed Esme voice added for the side stories Braeden voice added for small section of main story
Added one more voice whilst fixing a graphical error introduced by the last set of CGs Also note that voices haven't been normalised - that will be done before release
This update contains all the character voice files I've put in so far. Whilst it hasn't been fully tested, there shouldn't be a problem. Currently muting individual characters isn't working properly (and that window is a mess anyway), so don't expect too much there!
Japanese translation has now been finished. A request for the final set of CGs has been sent, so from that I'll be able to confirm when WTC : Love's Labour's Lost will be released fully - current estimate is towards the end of October. There will be a slight price increase, but not too much. There will be one final update for EA access at some point, although will probably be a small one for the last lot graphics, For the full release, I intend to have more voice work added, specifically for Grendel's parents, Dr. Not-Nice and co, as well as someone else. Currently the game is running well with no problems. A new pre-loading screen has been implemented and looks great.
There will probably be one more update before the full release (which will have extra material in). I've got two more sets of CGs to go. The tentative release date so far is by the end of October, but I'll be able to pin the date down better after the penultimate set of graphics have been completed.
Fix one of Cindi's voice lines crashing the program as well as one menu option not translating
The second of the three sets of CG's for Grendel's last fight are now in. I also added in the updated Japanese dialogue, although there is still a lot of work left to do there. The overrideCode error should now be fixed for early adopters. So, what's left? Well, there are two main sets of CG's to go. I would like to commission another set after that, but as it's just a nicety and nothing important, I'll have to decide about that. I am also hoping to get all the voices sorted soon as well
Another translation update. One more lot to go and that part will be complete
General translation update. In addition, "The Photograph" achievement has been made slightly hard to achieve so that the proper achievement for the sixth side story can take it's rightful place at the end of the section
Last update for a while. This just adds in some missed translation lines
Most of the Japanese translation has now been completed, and will now be checked. Four achievements have now been implemented
Due to a few bugs found, I've released this updated version which is nearly the complete game.
Fixed a continuity error I added with a change of story. Voice for the introductory dialogue and recap has been removed for the time being (probably).
This is the final Early Access update (barring any emergency updates). The next update will be just before release time. However, this update contains the following :
This is a small interim update to fix an achievement that wasn't being activated, add a sound effect and fix the display with an informational window. The last update before release should be out around 9th/10th March. In addition, if you are using a save file before the last update, you may find that the game crashes (specific areas being Braeden's name choice and Council's submarine section). This is due to how various random aspects are now generated - a change was made to accommodate translation to Japanese. To fix this problem, you will need to restart the game
This will be the penultimate update before release, and adds a bit more story (as well as fix a small continuity error). A bug has been fixed too.
In addition to the remaining extra scenes from being translated (barring choices), the following has also been done:
Stability should be back to normal now. Whilst a few errors may be remaining from removing some variables, the game should run from start to finish properly.
At the moment, the current version of the game is unstable - this is due to a large change taking place in order to allow easier translation. The next update (which should be along soon) should stablise things. Thank you for your patience
The process of translating everything to Japanese has now been started, thanks to Gorochan. There is a lot missing, so be prepared for blank areas. Also a voice file crash has been fixed.
This is a pretty large update and consists of :
The version number hasn't changed for this update.
Last update for the year. Overall, it's progressing well
You know you like the story! So vote for this game as in the "Outstanding Story-Rich" category!
