We have lots of updates for you, but for now let's start with that this will be the final update to 99 Fails Lite, as 99 Fails proper will be the game to play as an introduction and gateway to Zeebo's world and Neebota. Our first big main game, tentatively called Neebota: Zeebo's Nightmare, is an action-RPG with platforming aspects, in Zeebo's surreal ever-repeating nightmare. A roguelike dungeon crawler, much like Hades. 99 Fails will be an arcade game much like Jump King, for you to hone your skills for the real deal. :)

99 Fails Lite now includes collectibles! Collect them all and trade them in for experience. You get to keep collectibles only if you manage to get to the finish. If you die, you leave behind a bag that you can retrieve. If you die again without retrieving it, it's lost forever! We've also fine-tuned the gameplay. It's generally quite a bit busier! See if you can manage. :)

In the past weeks we've worked hard on a massive update for the game that will include 3 mechanics for you to master, Zeebo's backstory, more surreal events, enemies and 5 dream areas to traverse as you delve into Zeebo's mind. It will also include new gameplay such as new behaviors from enemies as well as gameplay enhancements such as boosts that trigger if you traverse pillars quickly.

Hi everyone and no one, We're happy to see you enjoying/hating the game and we've decided to upgrade and keep upgrading the game significantly! We're starting with adding a whole new mechanic, Zeebo longlegs. This will give you a new way to fail at crossing pillars. We're adding at least two new ones this month! We'll keep the third one a secret for a little while longer! :) We have more in the works for you and the more you guys will play the game the more we'll update it. Updates will be free forever.
The introductory price of the game will change coming Friday so get the game while it's cheap, as it will be $11,99 after July 15th and the equivalent for other territories!

When we released 99 Fails Lite you could race up to 3 Steam friends for a party of 4. We now added matchmaking so you can race anyone. When you click "online" you will be able to pick either with or without friends. With friends means you host and invite friends, without means you will join any available game or host one yourself and anyone can drop in!

We thought Steam deck owners especially would appreciate being to enjoy/hate 99 Fails Lite on Steam Deck. While we think everything should be okay, there may be issues. If you stumble upon any, be sure to let us know! Thanks!
