Hi humans! Happy new year! cathspaw Let's start 2023 with a present for you: A Building Full of Cats original soundtrack is coming! Back in June 2022, we did not had the resources to make an original soundtrack, so we used stock music, carefully looking for the best feat on each floor. After the game's success, we hired a musician to make a new soundtrack. We've asked for a new ost with the same vibe on each floor, so don't expect any drastic changes. This update will be free. And don't worry, you'll still be able to choose the current soundtrack in the options. winkycat The new OST is coming soon.

Hello humans! 2022 was a great year for us! We've released 4 games, a minigame, a comic book and a lot of aditional content for those games. Not to mention the other 4 games we are working on right now! That's a lot of work, so we need more paws to help us.
This is Leo, Devcats' new intern. He was found all alone in our yard, feist as a little feral cat really is. We rescued him and within 5 days he bloomed into a sweet little boy, purring loud every time we pet him. If you follow us on instagram (@luadogato) you already know all that. We named him Leo and he still need to be approved by all of us cats, but most likely he's going to stay with us permanently. ~~~~~~~~~~ We created a special bundle for the end of the year! Hi, humans! The new floor is here! We know that you can't add a floor to a building, so obviously that is not the case here. But the elevator mechanic had finally repaired the elevator panel! So now you have access to an area that was there all along, you just weren't able to reach to it: The Bunker, a place where the cats will be forever safe, no matter what. This is an extra floor and it's not connected to Fofio's progress. The original game remains the same. This floor also has more cats (60+12) and 2 new achievements were added, so if you had the game on your "Perfect Games" list you'll need to finish this floor or the game will not appear there anymore. Hope you enjoy the update! One more thing! If you liked our newest game and would like to support us, we would really appreciate if you could vote on A Castle Full of Cats for the "Sit Back and Relax" category on the Steam Awards. Hi humans! We have read all the forum posts and reviews about the game and made a list of changes. This update is supposed to improve the game based on your feedback. winkycat The game has a hint system now, but you can only use it once on each floor. Another announcement we have for you is that we had implemented new achievements: you can now decorate your profile with some cool letters!
Special thanks to Amber Mos for the Dutch localization! And also a huge thank you to user @eifelkenny and his wife to correct some of the German localization. Here's a list of what has changed:

COZY ROOM

That's the game we're willing to launch next. We don't have a release date yet but we hope to launch it in September.

A CASTLE FULL OF CATS

A Castle Full of Cats development is going well and we believe it will be a worthy successor to A Building Full of Cats. winkycat A demo will be available on the October edition of Next Fest, so you can play the game before buying it.

SUDOCATS

Hello, humans!

We can't be grateful enough to you! A Building Full of Cats got 80 reviews in 2 days! Thank you everyone who's helping us to be successful cats and having a better life! Thus, we can also help other cats in need! We've made several small patchs in the last 2 days. Here's a list of what has changed:

• Changed some render properties to make the game less demanding
• Fixed Fofio fading animation bug
• Fixed sometimes ESC not working on 5th and 6th floor after fiding Fofio
• Fixed minor visual glitches
• Fixed japanese and simplified chinese pointing to the wrong language

Hi there! Its been 4 months since we launched our very first game as Devcats and we are very grateful for the players reaction. Weve traced plans for Devcats in 2022 and wed like to share them with you! ;) Theres one factor thats really important to a game on Steam: wishlists. Thats why weve been revealing so many games in advance. We need to have as many wishlists as we possibly can by the day of each game launch, otherwise said game will be completely lost amidst all the other current releases. So, we politely ask you: if youre interested in our games, remember to add them to your wishlist and follow them, so we can stand a chance among the others. ?
Even if you dont wish to buy the game right at its release, having considerable wishlists and followers helps us to gain some projection inside Steams algorithm. COZY ROOM

This is our main announcement of the day! Youve just won a free game!! Cozy Room is a virtual room where you can enjoy the worlds most amazing companionship: Mr. Fofio! Decorate your room and do whatever you need in this relaxing environment. Customize your room and unlock decor items by solving puzzles that tell the rescue story of our dear Fofio (latin word for cute and fluffy). You can also build your own playlist, directly from your computer, with your favorite music. Cozy Room is planned to be released in August/September.

SUDOCATS

Despite Zodiacats being our first release, Sudocats was our very first game we had some setbacks in the project and thats why there were so many things done wrong. We solved all Sudocats problems in the first month and now were updating something strongly requested by you all: real cats pictures! Below, an example with our CEO Judy:

STEAM NEXT FEST

Well be participating with A Building Full of Cats demo. We have just a few weeks to finish the game, which is going to be released as soon as the festival is over. As were just five cats, we need every paw we have here (darn it, we wish we have thumbs!!!) We had plans to launch a demo for Cats Love Boxes for this festival as well, but it seems were running out of time. Were still working on it, anyhow. Its release is planned for July.
