Hello there!

Since our successful Demo Launch on the Steam Next Fest, a small partnership here in Germany and the massive explosion in wishlists, we are happy to announce an update, that will be rolled out to the Demo Version as well! Spellic 0.4.1 brings many quality of life features, that have been requested many times, such as rebind-able keys, more settings and mod support, as well as a new main menu and inventory trade ups. We will publish for MacOS as well! Also we are adding Discord Rich Presence Lobby Support (that's a word, wow). So now you can join other players lobbies directly within Discord, if their lobby is public. We sadly can't bring every feature to the demo branch, such as Steam Workshop support and the aforementioned inventory, but we are happy to provide as many new features as possible.

This is a major step towards a full Steam release!

We are proud to announce, that the Steamworks Documentation isn't that awful (but still pretty awful). Today we announce Steam Inventory Support - you can play Spellic and earn Items to share and trade. These Items are purely cosmetic wizard companions. Playtesters will be able to earn a special companion that won't be given out after release. The Fireflew. Here is a Cute Foxy :3

A fast paced, short rounded multiplayer pvp shooter, played in a sort of top down perspective. Defeat other apprentices, mobs or bosses in the undergrounds and become a true wizard.

Spellic is a casual pvp shooter, focused around your skill to remember all sorts of spells to win. Players will be thrown heads on in a 5v5 arena, or everyone by themselves, while surviving mobs and other creatures.

Cast spells by typing them, creating an athmosphere designed for whacky combat, misstypes and paniced gameplay. Thats where the fun in Spellic lies.

But be careful. Mobs and other deadly creatures roam the undergrounds, where the wizards battle.

Play a classic team deathmatch or bewitch everyone in your lobby in a free for all. Or you can try to defeat a boss monster with your fellow wizard apprentices and make the undergrounds saver in an epic boss battle.

Disclaimer:
Spellic is a revival from another project with the same name by a young developer named Wizz. Wizz created Spellic for a game jam in 2015, but sadly he quit and the development of the original Spellic stopped. I worked with Wizz together on Spellic, and after years of grief I created a new version on my own too keep this awesome game rocking. I hope someday you find this Wizz. I miss you, old friend.
