Have you ever wondered how a blue giant eclipse would look like? I imagined myself living on a planet illuminated by such a star. I used the in-game rendering engine of Out There: Oceans of Time and Siddhartha Barnhoorn music (composer of every Out There soundtrack) to give you a first visual glimpse at the game. The result is highly satisfying and could end up into a space documentary, don't you think?

- New achievements
- 1 new technology: The Cocoon
- Unlock new starting spaceships
- 1 new mechanics: Alien escort
- 16 new landing landscapes

We've been working for weeks now on the next update. We've migrated the source code to a newer version of Unity so most of the system-level bugs (such as unresponsive mouse) will mostly get fixed one and for all. We're also porting the Alliance content (currently only available on Switch) wich includes new ships, new aliens, alien escort missions, updated graphics and a new ending! Progress on the tasks is smooth. But as the update will be deployed on all platforms (Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS and Android), it requires a lot a QA. The good news is that we're confident the update will be ready in January!
We're proud to announce the sequel of our award-winning, half-million selling space exploration game Out There: Edition.
OT: Oceans of Time is more than a sequel though. While it keeps the core mechanics of the original game (roguelike, resource management and interactive fiction), it delivers them in a much more ambitious manner and will offer completely new features.
As you can see in the teaser trailer, the game is going full 3D with a hand-painted art style. It is the studio's most ambitious project yet and we're pretty excited! Thanks to our publisher Modern Wolf for supporting us in this crazy adventure.
Out There: Oceans of Time is planned to release on PC, mobile and consoles.
Join our Discord to follow the development and discuss with the developers!
You can already wishlist Out There: Oceans of Time on Steam.
We're also happy to announce that Out There: Edition will get 'The Alliance' content update later this year.

[/img] Hello space travelers, Void & Meddler - Episode 1, first game published by Mi-Clos Studio (creator of Out There: Ω Edition) and developed by french indies NO CVT, will release in October 28 on Steam. Void & Meddler is an episodic cyberpunk point&click adventure where genders and species melt into each others. Find out more and add it to your wishlist on the Steam page.
About the game
Fragments and details, rainy nights and blurry lights are all VOID&MEDDLER focuses on. A single night intrusion into Fyn's life and hopes. Tired of the last two years she spent wandering without a goal and without memories, among disenchanted strangers, and pitiless scavengers, Fyn decided to put an end to all of this. She’ll have a few hours to make things right, and seek strong, pure and substantial memories. In a city where genders and species melt into each other, maybe she’ll find the long lost touch of humanity missing from her life. The idea behind Void & Meddler was to create a game that looks like its creators, two musicians nurtured by noise rock from the 80's, synthwave, road trips and cyberpunk literature. Together, we conjured the narration, we created No Wave, we tamed the weird, we fucked in an orgy of wires, neons and white noise. Distance doesn’t corrupts anything. Amps were set aside for a while, and we dived head first into another sphere we loved, full of code, textures and pixel art. Enjoy Void & Meddler, an indie adventure game full of fuzz literature, pixel music and analog dreams. Void & Meddler on Steam

Hi, Space Travelers
We are pleased to announce that the first Multiverse update dubbed Cemetery Gates is now live on Steam! As promised, new game modes and content has been delivered! We are very curious to hear your feedback in the forum. Full details below.
Multiverse I - Cemetery Gates
EASY MODE First, the long-awaited 'easy mode'. We've been strongly against that in the past as it would change the whole spirit of the game. But we think that it's a shame some people are not able to experience our game or get quite frustrated because of its evil difficulty. So this issue has been addressed. Also, a specific leaderboard has been created for this mode. GAS GIANT RINGS They were missing for far too long, so we thought that adding rings around the gas giants would be a great cosmetic addition. Well, maybe it's not only cosmetic. CEMETERY GATES GAME MODE The most important addition is a new game mode called 'Cemetery Gates'. In this mode, you will encounter the last 10 space ships you have lost during previous runs, right where you've left them. You'll be able to scavenge the resources that you've left inside or simply take over the ship and continue your adventure. This mode will open up new strategies and possibilities. It will also boost the early game, that is is sometimes slow, as you'll find more ships around the starting point (remember all those runs prematurely ended because of bad luck?). Enjoy! Michael P.

We are proud to announce that we are officially working on our next game: The Sigma Theory.
The Sigma Theory is a turn-based strategy game about spying and diplomacy during a futuristic cold war.
It takes inspiration from TV series such as Homeland and House of Cards as well as real-life events that are shaking up our world.
It is developed for PC and mobiles.
Story
From the creators of the award-winning sci-fi game Out There... In the near future, scientists make a discovery that allows mankind to develop world-changing new technology. Suddenly the world’s superpowers realize they could have the power to destroy the global financial system, wipe out entire countries or even gain access to immortality. However, this discovery – called “The Sigma Theory” – can only be harnessed by a handful of scientists. You are placed at the head of your country’s intelligence agency. Your objective: world domination by any means necessary, using the power of the Sigma Theory. To achieve this you will have powerful resources at your disposal: special covert agents, tactical drones and, of course, your skills of diplomacy. It’s a cold war out there, one in which mankind must face up to its future. A future that leads, ultimately, to the technological singularity.
Features
- A new take on the spy genre, set during a futuristic global cold war
- Become chief of an intelligence agency
- Recruit your team from 50 unique agents
- Give them real-time guidance during field operations
- Take strategic advantage with your drone fleet
- Deceive your rivals during diplomatic summits
- Betray inconvenient allies
- Discover 30 world-changing technologies
In the press
"The world needs more games from the creators of Out There." Graham Smith - RPS "Imagine something like House of Cards, where the higher you climb the greater you fail." Owen Faraday - PocketTactics

Out There expands its universe with Multiverse Update Series
When developing Out There: Ω Edition, we rebuilt it entirely in a new engine so we could port it to PC. Indeed, the initial development, started in 2012, was achieved during a very difficult part of our life where we didn't have any money or expectations for the game. Now that we have solid and versatile fundations, 3 years of players feedback and our own ideas, we have decided to expands the original experience that Out There is offering. We have planned to release a series of updates that we call Multiverse. Each Multiverse will add basic stuff you'd expect from an update. Like bug fix and small improvements. But more importantly, it will bring new game modes and contents. About that, the first update is on its way and will arrive on PC and mobiles pretty soon. Read on.
Multiverse I - Cemetery Gates
The first Multiverse update will get 3 new major additions. EASY MODE First, the long-awaited 'easy mode'. We've been strongly against that in the past as it would change the whole spirit of the game. But we think that it's a shame some people are not able to experience our game or get quite frustrated because of its evil difficulty. So this issue has been addressed. Out There : Ω Edition Linux [295.15 M]
You are an astronaut awaking from cryonics not in the solar system, but... out there... in a far and unknown place of the galaxy. In Out There, you will have to survive, tinkering your ship with what you can gather drifting in the void, and spot garden planets to refill your oxygen supply.
Space is an hostile place ; dangerous and mysterious adventures will mark each step of your travel. You will not only meet intelligent species that won’t care about you, but also deal with ancient powers linked to your destiny and the fate of mankind itself.
Survival and understanding of what is really at stake in the galaxy is the core of what Out There has to offer.
