Happy New Year! Another year has past and it was certainly a blast! Thanks to everyone who played Hobo Cat Adventures, made videos about it or streamed the game somewhere. THANK YOU! I met a whole bunch of new great people in 2022 and I'm very thankful for that. It's great being able to bring crazy games to you all and I hope you like them. Bug Fixes: Fixed a bug where the Fly Boss wasn't visible on the lower quality settings Additions: Updated the Debug Console now you can: - Spawn any item in front of you - Enable/disable gravity

• Fixed a bug where it wouldn't load King Daniel when saving right after the introduction cut scene.

• Added fullscreen / window toggle option via debug console
• Improved fish weapon (faster, can walk again sooner after light attack)

• Focused camera so you won't lose focus on dual screen setup
• Fixed a bug where you couldn't deathblow Scary
• Fixed weapons sometimes not detecting hits
• Fixed katana not detecting katana-deathblow
• Weapon wont collide with destructibles anymore

Next to making it available on Linux here are all the changes and bug fixes that are included in the update. Updates - Linux Build. You can now play Hobo Cat Adventures on your Linux machine - Balanced enemy health and weapon damage / stamina usage to make the different weapons more useful - Implemented Unitys new Input System. The game should now work with most controllers without changing any Steam settings - Pressing buttons in the pause menu won't trigger any of Hobo Cats movements anymore - Camera sensitivity settings are now similar for mouse and controller - Plugin out the controller causes the game to pause - Outro cutscene can now be skipped - Windows IL2CPP Build for better performance Fixed Bugs - Qutting during the race caused a bug where you couldn't interact with the bear anymore - Coin particles didn't show up when killing enemies / destroying barrels - Death cam didn't use the cam settings - Rain didn't show up in the last section of the game Cheers, Chris Hobo Cat Games

Frank the Worm has finally got a voice! I'm glad to announce that Nicholas Gathany, creator of the upcoming 3d platformer "Olliday", was so kind to lend his voice to this important character and to breath life into Frank the Worm. The voice is just like I ever wanted Frank to sound like. I'm very happy to finally have Frank fully voice acted. Nicholas did such a great job. I hope you enjoy that little update as much as I do. • Bonfire FX was not on Mixer Group
• Elevator to King D could trap you
• Hole in floor in Snowy Mountain area
• Fish Zombie head had no Image
• You could jump while holding katana (heavy attack)
• Final Boss could be re-triggered after defeating him
• Chicken disappeared when riding it into water
• Watersplashes Snowy Mountains were not on Mixer Group
• Fixed some typos

Additions

• New Easter Egg Character in the Snowy Mountain area

Bug Fixes

• Eggs could be destroyed by a bomb which made the quest impossible to complete. They are now indestructible.
• After feeding Boris he would still give the same response. Also you receive more money for that quest.
• Having a skull in your inventory would turn into an egg when reloading the game. This is now fixed.

Play a short demo of Hobo Cat Adventures during the steam games festival! The demo will only be available during the festival so make sure to play it while it's hot! The steam game festival lasts from February 3 up until February 9, 2021. The Demo In the demo you will be able to play the tutorial level of Hobo Cat Adventures. Explore the Carrot Fields where you will meet "Butts" the carrot farmer, "Scary" the scarecrow and some other fun characters. Steam Game Festival During the festival there will be two live streams.

• First on Friday, February 5. The Swiss stream-team "Geek Stbli" will check out Hobo Cat Adventures. This stream will be in Swiss-German and will also be streamed to twitch.
• Second on Saturday, February 6. This is the developer stream. You'll be able to watch the dev play, ask questions, give feedback and have general chit-chat.
