Hey, everyone! Anime Prison - Gisele's Escape will soon be retiring from Steam, and will no longer be available for purchase. I realise this news will be disappointing, however I don't believe I'll be able to provide future updates for the game, and as such I decided it would be better to retire the game rather than sell it without any more planned updates. The good news is the game will still be fully playable!

Haiii my little PogChamps, today I've released the 1.3 update for Anime Prison - Gisele's Escape! I hope you enjoy it ^.^

The following major changes have been made:

• Updated many of the character models, improving both looks and performance.
• Updated the UI to make it look nicer and be more readable.
• A new inmate has been added to the prison, Bastet:
  • She can be found wandering the prison as an inmate, as well as in her cell as a new quest giver.
  • She will never carry around a weapon, and will not attack the player unless harmed as she is a pacifist.
  • She was arrested for witchcraft, although she claims she was simply performing miracles.
  • Completing her quest line will allow you to receive her blessing, permanently increasing your survivability.
• Added a new chivo, "Blessing of protection" which can be earned by completing the new quest line and receiving Bastet's blessing.
• Added a new chivo, "Chicken converter" which can be earned by trying to convert a chicken to follow Bastet. Note that this chivo can only be earned while on a certain quest.

The following bugs have been fixed:

• Fixed an invisible character during a cut scene.
• Fixed some typos and bad text.
• Fixed a possible situation where NPCs would think they've helped the player when they have not.
• Fixed quest marker sometimes showing up weirdly on the map. If you notice at any point a quest marker is at a weird angle on the minimap, please report :3

The following changes have been made

• Fixed up some typos and game text
• Updated Manatee model
• Fixed a bug that caused chivos to not be given at the proper time

Haiii ^.^ it's time for the 1.2 update to Anime Prison - Gisele's Escape! The following major changes have been made:

• Added random crits. (random bursts of skill)
• Added several new insults when the player dies.
• Improved readability of some text.
• Added hardcore mode:
  • Game is locked to masochist difficulty.
  • Only 1 save slot, which will save automagically when you exit the game.
  • You can also click save game to save, but it has it's own save slot.
  • If you die, it's game over!
• Added a new character, Emily:
  • She can be found as an enemy wandering around the prison.
  • She also appears as a questgiver across from the players cell, and will send you on a quest to save her cute shark plushies.
• Added 3 brand new chivo's:
  • Shake it! Which can be earned by showing off your new dance moves. (try twerking :3)
  • Shark saver which can be earned by completing the new quest that Emily gives.
  • Hardcore! Which can be earned by beating the game in hardcore mode.
• Decorated some cells a bit more.
• Added a new quest to Thicc Bitch.
• The game is now much smaller on disk.

• Fixed some insults never showing up for the player.
• You must now save Christmas in order to earn the overachiever chivo.
• Fixed a bug where the boss spider would sometimes attack at hypersonic speed. (whoops lol)
• Game will no longer freak out when you attempt to save and load a game with a weapon equipped.
• NPCs that are not in a valid location will now be culled from existence on game load. Please let me know if this causes any problems with boss/elite/quest NPCs disappearing.
• Fixed some enemies not having the proper amount of health when loading a save.
• Fixed some enemies spawning with incorrect max health.
• Fixed a possible issue where weapons would do the wrong amount of damage.
• Added more spaghetti code to loading to fixed some broken save files.
• Fixed certain enemy summoners spawning the wrong type of enemies if loading from older saves.

Hey cuties, it's that time of year! Holiday! Well, almost. It's Christmas time in the prison, and with that comes an update to Anime Prison - Gisele's Escape! The following major changed have been made to the game - Added Mrs. Claus, she can appear as both an NPC and as a quest giver outside of the Cafeteria. She will send you on a quest to save Christmas. - Added Christmas decorations outside of the Cafeteria. Very festive! - Added a new chivo for saving Christmas. - Added some lovely modern art to Toto's/Tata's office, please check it out :3 The following bugs have been fixed - The AI should no longer walk through the fences at the wheat farm. - The respawn button will now properly be selected when the player dies. - You no longer take burn damage after respawning in some cases. - The revolver no longer breaks when new quests are added to the game. - Fixed a minor visual bug on the foinal quest line.
