Hey there! Just letting you know that my Wikipedia guesstimation game WikiArena is participating in Steam Summer Sale right now with a new all-time-biggest discount! :)
In other exciting news, my new game Rack and Slay released last month. It's a pure-fun billiards roguelike where you stack items to create broken builds. It received its first big content update just this week and is also on sale right now, so maybe check it out!
Thanks to the volunteer work of and LeanderLin (both of Know Team), the game is now fully playable in Chinese! While you could use articles from Chinese Wikipedia before, now the user interface has been translated as well!
In other news, the game is on a discount right now as part of the Turn-based Carnival event! Check it out to find many cool turn-based games on sale!
P.S. There's a demo coming for my upcoming billiard roguelike Rack and Slay very soon! Wishlist and follow now to be among the first to get the news!
Hi! I just pushed a new version that fixes a rare issue when playing against the WikiBot where it couldn't quite come to a decision and would take forever on its turn. Now it'll be put on the spot and have to decide in time!
In other news, there is a "Games Made In Germany" event going on right now. Check it out to find lots of cool indie games from Germany! In the case of WikiArena, it even managed to take the country to the top of the currently active player count (the game is usually much stronger in Japan and the US) and got German Twitch veteran MythosOfGaming to stream it (YouTube VOD here).
Ein herzliches Willkommen an alle neuen Spieler aus Deutschland! Habt ganz viel Spa und lasst vielleicht eine Rezension da (gerne auch auf Deutsch, die sind immer recht rar gest)!
Some housekeeping to close:
TL;DR: 5 new Nordic languages + "Simple English". Wishlist Rack and Slay, my billiard roguelike! --- Time for another update! steamhappy First of, huge shoutout to anyone who picked up the game during Steam Puzzle Fest. If you enjoy the game, consider leaving a review! For a one-person indie operation, every little bit helps a ton! <3 To give something back, I decided to add a few more languages with the new update!
Hi there! Today I'm excited to report WikiArena is participating in Steam Puzzle Fest and is 25% off for the occasion! Much love to everyone who played the game so far! Tell your friends it's at an all-time low price right now.
Also keep the reviews coming, they've been soothing the indie dev soul! Thank you so much!
Hi! First things first, WikiArena is 10% off during Steam Autumn Sale! steamhappy
In other news, I just updated the demo with all bugfixes made since launch and released a small update to the full version with tweaks and fixes to the recently added Twitch integration and 1v1 mode!
Hi everyone! First of, thank you so much to anyone who played the game! It's difficult getting any sort of visibility for indie games these days, so I'm thrilled about every new player and very grateful for the positive reception so far! Keep those Steam reviews coming and tell your friends! For a tiny project like this any little bit really helps a ton! steamhappy Features:
[previewyoutube=MpzJV_e-6N8;full][/previewyoutube] I'm super excited to announce that WikiArena is OUT NOW! Many thanks to those who had enough trust to jump in and are already playing! Of course I pretty much entirely depend on your help for anyone to notice the game in the first place, so please tell your friends about it, especially if they have a soft spot for weird roguelikes, trivia or tiny experimental solo dev endeavors like this one! And as usual: Leaving a review on Steam also goes a very, very long way! Every single one counts. You may also want to challenge your favorite streamers to a duel in the "Streamer vs. Twitch Chat" mode! Viewers can vote on their own answer via chat commands and play a "last one standing" against the hosting streamer. Finally, it goes without saying that if you encounter issues or have any feedback, please put it on the Steam forums! I'll keep an eye on anything that comes up for future updates! And now let those Wikipedia articles battle it out!
