Hi friends, we've added some new things to Bonsai! In this next release, you are able to grow a Birch tree and you have the ability to water trees. Watering makes them grow faster for a period of time, so be sure to water your trees every so often if you want them to grow quicker. We've also listened to your feedback and have made a frame-rate limiter which can be configured in the settings menu. In the first release, we chose to limit the frame rate to a minimum of 10 frames per second. Your tree would continue to grow until your video card could no longer render it faster than 10 frames per second. Unfortunately, some folks thought this felt a little sloppy and it gave the impression of Bonsai being a resource hog. Now, we gave you the ultimate control over how large your tree can grow! The lower you set the minimum FPS in the settings, the larger your tree will grow! Bonsai has only been on Steam about a week and already we're seeing some great pictures in the online community. It looks like some of you are having fun seeing what shapes you can grow your tree into! We're very happy that you're enjoying Bonsai, so keep sending us your feedback and we'll continue to make it into a game you enjoying playing for a long time to come!
