Update v1.04.1: Bug fixes and improvements

Hi everybody! Here is a new update, we hope it will make your journey through the world of Isbarah more enjoyable than ever!

Improvements:


  • Out of screen Railguns are now indicated with a small icon on the edge of the screen
  • Cleared Bullets now have a disparition transition
  • Spell finisher countdown now have an animation
  • Designless spike attack now have its sound effect


Balance:

  • Father can now hurt you in the tutorial
  • The level design of the tutorial has been improved
  • Maras difficulty has been rebalanced
  • Kyliox difficulty has been rebalanced
  • Amalgams difficulty has been rebalanced
  • Deaths difficulty has been rebalanced


Bug fixes:

  • Iria cant double jump anymore when the jump key is pressed twice in a row.
  • Rebinding inputs now instantly updates the corresponding popups in the tutorial
  • Various bugs fixed


Various:

  • SFX now prevail over musics with the default audio mix
  • Tutorial dialogs are a bit faster

Major changes:


  • Railguns now have a better indicator to show you their location.
  • Lost lives will now correctly be given back during Barrier tutorial.
  • Some high score Ranks have been rebalanced (Designless, Jackal & Mara)
  • The achievement You have no power here! has changed: you now have to defeat the Bird of Time without using either the Slow motion nor the Barrier power. Have fun!
  • Scores will be reset once on the first level (and so will be the corresponding leaderboard) due to the 7th Hell score exploit on this level.
  • Minor bug fixes.

Alongside some minor bug fixes and general game balance, heres what changes in this update:


  • Loading time has been shortened when you restart a level. We hope it will be more comfortable for those who aim at the perfect run ;)
  • You should now be able to bind extra mouse buttons in the Input Settings.
  • Achievements descriptions have been made more precise.


Major bug fixes:

  • The 7th Hell bonus score on tutorial bug is fixed.
  • Invisible barriers should not randomly stay activated on final boss fight.
  • The difficulty selection screen wont appear anymore when restarting the tutorial.
  • Rank is now correctly updated on the Score screen when Challenge points are added to the score.
  • The Barrier tutorial should now correctly be launched each time you fight Walter, unless the Skip barrier tutorial checkbox is ticked.


Be aware that because of the score bug on the first level, the corresponding leaderboard will be reseted once the update is live.

First of all, wed like to thank you all for supporting Isbarah! Your encouragements are a great reward for us ;)

As our main goal is to provide you the best gaming experience possible, your feedbacks really matter to us. This is why we would like to give you a preview of what is going to change / being improved in the next updates of Isbarah. The first of these updates is going to be released this Friday.

Here is the list of what WILL be included in this update:


  • Tutorial in 7th Mode bug will be fixed.
  • Invisible barriers wont randomly stay enabled in the fight against the last Boss anymore (could be annoying, dont you think?)
  • You will be able to bind extra mouse buttons to the actions in the Input Settings (left and right click will remain dedicated to the Dash and Barrier powers)
  • We are also aware of the loading screen being too long when you restart a level, especially when its the 10th time... Well do our best to shorten this waiting time.


We also want to improve the way we show where the Railguns are located during the Chase Phases. You will be warned as soon as we have some fresh news about that ;)
