About the game
IntraTag is currently in early alpha phase. Please excuse that the screenshot and logos shown are basically just simple placeholders for the moment. Probably the only people seeing this page are the alpha testers anyway.
In IntraTag you are catching other players. There are however not two, but three teams in this first-person game.
Caught players do not leave the game though, but simply join the team of their catcher.
However, the other players can also hear your steps, the faster you move, the louder you are.
Are you going to run around, torch blazing? Or are you going to hide in the shadows and ambush players? The choice is yours inĀ IntraTag.
The possibilities for physical entertainment are rather limited in confined corridors of these bases, however one sport that developed there was intransitive tag (or intratag for short), which is played with three teams.

Three intransitive teams
One of the teams you should catch and one is looking for you. Each time you catch someone you gain two points and the other player loses a point. Whoever has most points at the end wins the round. A round ends either when the time is up or when one of the three teams has been eliminated.Caught players do not leave the game though, but simply join the team of their catcher.
A new maze every round
The game is played in a randomly generated maze, so you'll never know what's around the next corner. Additionally, it is completely black in the maze and the only light sources are the adjustable torches (flash lights) which each player carries. Using it exposes your location to other players, but without it you won't be able to tell friend and foe apart. However, the other players can also hear your steps, the faster you move, the louder you are.

Lore and background
In a not too far future, humanity has started colonising the solar system. The third planet to have a permanent settlement was Mercury. Thanks to the eternal darkness, several polar craters have a moderate temperature year round, unlike the rest of the planet. Thus, they were ideal places to establish underground cities. The possibilities for physical entertainment are rather limited in confined corridors of these bases, however one sport that developed there was intransitive tag (or intratag for short), which is played with three teams.
