Patch v2.3 is now live! The game should show v2.3 at the top right of the title screen. If your game doesn't automatically update, please exit out of Steam and log back in.

Patch Notes:

• Adjusted the way audio is loaded to help with users on slower machines.
  
• Player motion will now properly work in coach mode when using a controller.
  
• Adjusted the passing and receiving stats that are generated when simulating games to have the number be more in line with the NFL.
  
• Fixed a bug that would cause a safety to occur when kicking a PAT in rare situations
  
• Improved AI playcalling and clock management logic to address some specific situations

Patch Notes:

• Fixed a bug where users couldn't use the controller to cycle up/down on the player stats window to select or highlight players in the list.
  
• Fixed a bug that was preventing coach portraits from loading properly when using mods
  
• Starting a franchise with Mods enabled will not longer hang when missing the Drafts folder from inside the Mods folder
  
• Increased the number of sacks that were occurring during simulated games. Overall, the numbers were previously too low.

Patch Notes:

• Adjusted some receiver and QB formulas and AI to raise overall completion percentage. (It was too low in v2.0)
  
• Fixed a bug where a franchise would be unable to progress to the second round of the playoffs if the away team won during a user-played match in the first round of the playoffs.
  
• Fixed a display bug where the matchup window would sometimes incorrectly say "Week 1" during a playoff match
  
• Improved the AI logic for calling timeouts in certain situations

Patch Notes:

• Fixed a bug where the QB would drop back and enter a state where they would be unable to be tackled. This would occur only at the end of the game when the offensive team was selecting QB Kneel / Victory Formation when on their own side of the field and closer than ten yards to their own goalline.
  
• Fixed a bug where a safety would sometimes incorrectly occur if the QB scrambled for a touchdown on 4th down.
  
• Adjusted the AI and calculations for players defending deep passes. It was too easy to complete deep throws in previous versions.
  
• Fixed a bug where the depth chart would sometimes get out of order if a player was injured on a play and they also were fatigued below the auto-substitution threshold
  
• Fixed a bug where the play clock would not reset on the two-minute warning if the playbook was still showing
  
• Fixed a bug where a delay of game penalty would incorrectly start the game clock if there was 2:00 or less remaining in the 2nd or 4th quarter
  
• Adjusted the play selection logic when losing late in the game. (Pass more and preserve the clock.)
  
• Fixed a bug in Franchise Mode where the scouting focus could not be changed when using a controller
  
• Fixed a bug where the controller button guide was not showing during the Team Select menu
  
• Fixed a bug where the music value was not properly showing in the options window when using a controller
  
• Fixed a bug where the user would sometimes lose control of the QB if the QB got hit and broke the tackle just after a throw was started but before the ball was released.
  
• When a team selects the QB Kneel / Victory Formation play, the clock will now run faster only until five seconds remain on the play clock. It will then return to normal speed to give players time to snap without getting a delay of game penalty.
  
• Playbook mods are now properly functioning. Playbook mods can be found at / Mods / Playbooks
  
• Fixed a bug where the auto-substitution window was either not displaying or displaying the players from the wrong team.

Patch v1.8 is now live. The game should show v1.8 at the top right of the title screen. If you game doesn't automatically update, please exit out of Steam and log back in.

Patch Notes:

• Fixed an issue with the ball not being spotted properly after declining a penalty that occurred pre-snap
  
• Fixed an issue where penalties could be accepted or decline twice in rare cases when using a controller
  
• When selecting plays on defense on 4th down, the scoreclock will now show the specific type of offensive special team formation (punt, field goal, or skill personnel) so you can select a play accordingly.
  
• Fixed a bug that occurred when a QB fumbles while throwing and a defender recovers the ball and begins to return it for a touchdown. The ball would be stripped out of the defender's hands.
  
• Adjusted the weight of kicking power on kickoffs to be more in line with reality
  
• Fixed a bug where editing the uniforms of modded teams would cause the game to freeze.
  
• Fixed a bug where handoffs would sometimes fail in rare cases, leaving the QB with the ball and in a state where he is unable to be tackled.

Axis Football 2023 is now live. If your game doesn't update automatically, please exit out of steam and log back in. The game should show v1.7 at the top right of the title screen.

Patch Notes:

• Fixed a display bug that had the wrong year in the title of the game
  
• Franchises will now start in the year 2022
  
• Fixed a bug where editing uniforms would sometimes cause the game to freeze when attempting to use those uniforms
  
• Adjusted the shadows on the player models to create more realistic lighting and shadows. Please check your in-game quality settings to adjust (Options > Video).
