Hello friends, I've been thinking about doing this for a few months now and have finally decided I'm going to make The Lonely Helmet free. I spent a lot of time on this game and it does mean a lot to me, but financially it didn't do great. I know people love free games and I'd love for people to play it and hopefully enjoy it, so going free seems like the best option. Changes
- Adjusted height of section 2 in Level 09 to prevent bunny hopping to the end flag
- Decreased coin requirement for Donald Trump from 1666 to 666 (Thanks super groovy hangout for super groovy people on discord)
- Decreased default jump volume because it was annoying

- Fixed credits running so slow that you never get passed my name (Thanks Hydro from PlayerSquared)
- Fixed being able to instantly jump through to end flag on Level15
- Fixed being able to miss the entire bottom section of Level19 and jump to the finish (Thanks Hydro from PlayerSquared)
- Fixed label not appearing on Level 20
- Fixed bug where map would change but not remove old section of map on Level 20
- Increased highlight of Main Menu buttons - Removed rolling enemy on Level 17, changed to Projectile - SteamDeck compatability updates [WIP]

- Updated Level 16 to give hint to where the pressure block is - Updated Level 18 to give hint that there is a door you need to open with a pressure block - Increased size of the hit boxes for rolling enemies - Increased size of the hot box for Stars to make them a little less annoying to grab

- Fixed Falling Blocks not falling on Level 17 - Fixed Enemy that was invincible on Level 17
Known Issues
- The main menu when loading into the game for MacOS runs at very low FPS, after loading a level it is fine. Working on fix benched for v1.0.3.

I'm happy to announce that during the Summer of 2022, The Lonely Helmet will be released on Steam available on Windows and macOS (Intel only*).
Have a few of the trailer, and thank you to everyone that's been around during the development process - you absolute helmet legends.
*Due to the library that I use for Steam Integration, Apple Silicone is not currently supported. This is something I am hoping to add in the future, however in the event that I cannot, please take the understanding that The Lonely Helmet does NOT support M1 Macs and only Supports Intel based Macs at present.

In a galaxy far far away, there was a collection of helmets. Some were stronger than others, some were smaller and some were bigger, but all helmets had a purpose - to protect their space-human and allow them to breath outside of the Universe. The Lonely Helmet, a space-themed puzzle platformer, will have you jumping and sliding through levels after being tasked to find the human that was meant to be wearing you on their head outside the ISS.
