After unfortunately needing to stop working on Dimday Red and retiring it from Steam we have some good news! We just released, our first full game, Basements n' Basilisks! https://store.steampowered.com/app/2236860/Basements_n_Basilisks/ If you've ever played a tabletop RPG you know how it feels to sit around a table, imagine fantastical worlds and mysterious creatures. Most of the time... Usually you steal from the merchants, fail at performing the simplest of tasks, prioritize violence over negotiations and potentially getting into an argument with God themselves. Because in reality that's what TTRPGs are about. Having fun and trying weird things with your friends! And that's what Bn'B is also about! [previewyoutube=1kRaXdGRWik;leftthumb][/previewyoutube] Make your choices, roll the dice and remember how it felt the first time you sat around a table with your friends to explore a new magical realm. From the bottom of our hearts we hope you enjoy our game. We can't wait to hear what you think! ~eNVy softworks P.S. If you've got a Steam Deck make sure to try the game out there. It runs great and it's a pretty comfortable play!
Hello, Citizens!
New demo update is live with some new features and bug fixes!
First of all, we have a new introduction sequence where we give you some options to build your character and try to explain a couple of the game mechanics. Still not perfect nor complete, but a good step in the right direction!
We also added a map that is accessible during the game through the bottom right menu! (Just click the map icon) Hope this gives you a better understanding of the scale of Neu Bonn and the final game area!
On the sound front, our sound designer has added some awesome diegetic sound effects to compliment our excellent voice acting! We also now support different voice/ text localization settings, so you can have Japanese voice acting with English text and vice versa! Just select your preferences from the settings menu.
Last but not least, straight from the oven is the addition of Chinese text localization (thank you, Albert Wei)! Localization in general got some love this week, now "almost" everything in the game should be localized!
Dimday Red is a narrative RPG about morality, choices and a multitude of languages, cultures and classes colliding at the end of the world. It is in the very essence of the world that it belongs to everyone. Therefore, we stay committed to our continuous efforts to make the game accessible to as many people as possible. Next stop, dyslexia-friendly fonts!
Let us know what other languages you'd like us to support and we'll try our best to make that happen!
Both the demo and its translations are a work in progress and therefore you may encounter issues. We would be grateful if you could report these issues to us in the Steam Community Forum!
We hope you enjoy Neu Bonn. Enjoy!
Until the end of the world!
