

You play as a secluded Bear Witch who lives in the Forest. She's a beekeeper and user of honey magic.
One day the Forest gets attacked by evil robots who want to destroy it. It's up to the Bear Witch to stop them.
In order to stop them you will need honey. Honey works as your energy or mana, you need it to cast spells. To get more honey you got to help your bee friends get more nectar by planting flowers.
With your honey you can confront the waves of robots that are trying to destroy the forest. Stop as many as you can before your honey runs out or you need to rest. With more honey you can defeat more robots.
You will also need to leave the Bear Witches comfort zone and befriend the other animals in the Forest. Being nice and helping out is good for everyone.

Decoration
The big one is the new Decoration feature. You can now decorate the forest with more than just flowers! Place chairs, tables, vases, rocks, pumpkins and much more, wherever you want in the forest.
You will start off with a big set of decorations, but some you will have to unlock. And even more are coming in future updates.
If you join the Discord you will be able to suggest decorations that might end up in the game!

Exploration
This update also expands the forest with new thing and areas to find, some are well hidden.
Theres a new mysterious pumpkin patch in Pumpkin Valley with a new character, Scarecrow, who might have a riddle or two for you.

We also have the most important addition. You can now pet Bumble Dog!
Bumble dog has also received a buff making him a bit stronger. In addition you now have the option to leave him at home if you prefer to play without him.

UI Rework
The UI has also been reworked quite a lot. Both visually, with new backgrounds and animations, and in some cases the functionality has been remade too.

Next up Im focusing on combat. And there will be some big changes!
Im aiming to release smaller updates, but more frequent ones. To help me focus on fewer features at a time and also faster implement players feedback and my own ideas. If you like Crow, Belle, Ace, Hank and/or Vlad you're in luck! The new quests will involve them. Some quests are combat focused, some are more personal and some are just about cool stuff. There's something for everyone!

It's been one week since release! And I'm super happy with how it's gone!
I've released an update, v.0.1.2, which not only implements some of your feedback and fixes bugs you've reported, but I've also added Mac support so Apple users can now play Honeymancer as well!

- Honey Jars now gives you 50% of your max Honey
- Health Potions now heals you 50% of your max Health
- A smooth zoom when starting and ending dialogues
- A toggle under Accessibility that lets you turn off the zoom in
- A setting under General for choosing if the aim arrow is permanently on or off, or if it's automatic
- Dizztroyers now have a red outline when spinning
Bug Fixes:
- No longer a chance to get stuck on the quest A Feast for Crow
- Seeds no longer have a risk of not being saved
- Teleporting to Pumpkin Valley will no longer cause wacky stuff

We made an update to the game last night, v.0.1.1. Where we fixed all the so far reported bugs and did some small addition that's been suggested. If you want to report bugs or suggest things to and or change I highly recommend that you join our Discord Server ( https://discord.com/invite/UFa25FSt8z ). It's easier and quicker for me to you respond there
Bugs fixed:
- You can now press New Game on Steam Deck (you might have to restart your Steam Deck for this to work)
- Placing Mode HUD no longer showing when exiting with ESC
- The quest There's A Leek now works with correct expressions and reward
- During the quest Forgetti you no longer get stuck in Borts dialogue
- First level in Pumpkin Valley no longer gets stuck on wave 2
- Third level in Pumpkin Valley no longer auto completes
- Bottles are now saved when exiting the game
- You can no longer walk out into the void
- The quest A Feast For Crow can now be completed
Additions:
- The game now tells you when it's saving (during loading screens and when exiting the game)
- You can now use Space Bar to go forward in dialogues. (B for xbox controllers and Circle for playstation controllers)
- A check in side your home that make sure you have gotten the correct reward from quest. If you have played and one of the bugged quest didn't give you a reward you will now have it when you start the game.

Why EARLY ACCESS?
I'm releasing it to Early Access because I want players to have a chance to try it out and give their feedback on the development. This way will allow me to gain crucial feedback and ensure that the game is going in the right direction and become the best game it can be!Honeymancer is solo-developed by me with some additional help from my friends. The support from Early Access will be invaluable, and will allow me to continue working on Honeymancer!
I'm planning to release fairly frequent updates. The updates will be a mix of bug fixes, small and large content patches and general changes based on the players feedback.
The game have a few large content updates planned. When they are done and the game is working properly it will release fully.
The Early Access version features all of the core mechanics of the game and the player can experience the full game loop. The game is however not complete and there is a lot more to create, improve and fix.
I want to involve the community in almost every step of development from now on. To do this I've made a Discored server where you all can leave your feedback and suggestions and also talk about the game with me and other people. It would be great if you joined! Hope to see you there!
