Little bug fixed in the Workshop when giving Reg the Radio
I've always wanted to remove the hard coded English words from inventory items, backgrounds etc in the game so any language does not have to rely on working out any English words, and I have now completed this task. I am very happy with the changes and think the game is prettier and more globaly friendly!
Hi Mountaineers! Just a few changes and a little tidy up, plus preparing for the xBox build so have enabled better on/off functionality for menus with better keyboard control for UI like (o)ptions, (i)nventory, escape for pause, (h)int and tab for highlight hotspots! Thanks everyone! And remember, if you haven't left a review, please leave a review! x

Thanks again and heres to a great 2024!
Since releasing Woolley Mountain over four years ago, we've seen very lucky to get lots of fans and love for our very first commercial game. But, we really haven't had very many reviews! and we need more, and here's a breakdown of why...
Did you know...
...most new players come through suggestions made by Steam within their own platform?Steam's algorithm takes the number of reviews to dictate how often (and how prominently) each game is shown to new potential players as they browse and play.
...the first algorithm milestone is 10 reviews.
This is Steam's way of making sure that a game isn't a total stinker.
...next is at 50-reviews.
This is where a game can earn itsVery Positiverating, depending on the positivity of the reviews.
...the next milestone is a massive 500 reviews!
If we were to reach this it would give Woolley anOverwhelmingly Positiverating and a top spot in the Steam algorithm. We're a long way off, butevery single review is includedand increases our chances of being seen by new point & click fans.
How can you help?
It's simple, easy and quick! If you have enjoyed playing Woolley Mountain, please, please, please spare a few seconds to write a short review and help us on our journey to reach thatseminal 500 reviews!
I promise that it will truly have a vast impact and help us to create more games in the future.
Thanks again folks!
James
Imagine a version of Life On Mars where instead of waking up in the 70s, our protagonist awakes in The Magic Roundabout.
Sleepytime Village is the story of a neglectful, workaholic father who becomes trapped in a childrens storybook reality, haunted by the residents of the Village, its formless narrator and visions of his childhood.

We hope you enjoy and look forward to your support to make our new game the best it can be!
Thanks
James Lightfoot

I remember the day fondly, & realised Id forgotten to hit publish on Steam for 2 hours after it was supposed to be released! Doh!
Weve learnt so much over the year of release, and cant wait to implement all these learnings into our next game (thats coming along nicely!) so stay tuned for more updates on that.
But, to celebrate weve finished the Art Book and soundtrack, now available one. the Woolley Mountain Steam page!! Go get 'em champ!

All songs written by David Lightfoot and Jonny Barnard.
The Helmholtz Resonators are a renegade group of psychedelic audio scientists who have been playing and writing music together since the turn of the century. They studied acoustic science and the work of Hermann Von Helmholtz, being particularly inspired by his book On the Wires of our Nerves, essential reading for anyone interested in the science of sound and sound synthesis. Heavily inspired by the ethos behind concept albums, the band have created a repertoire of songs that are as eccentric as their image, touching on influences as diverse as The Residents and The Kinks to LCD Soundsystem and Hieronymous Bosch.
