Fixed an issue where you sometimes couldn't change keyboard rebindings after opening the Steam overlay

Ludde is dirt cheap at the moment, there's no reason not to buy it if you're into collect-a-thons! steamhappy

You can now rebind movements too, including driving controls. So if you e.g. prefer accelerating with W and doing tricks with the arrow keys, it's an easy adjustments.

Also, the button prompts are now updated after adjusting rebindings.

I know that many of you have been asking for this feature for a long time and I was planning to include it in the first release, but there's some complexity connected to it with all the different activities. Anyway, rebinding of controls is now possible! I still recommend using the default controls, but the feature is obviously here to stay so you are welcome to give me feedback on how I can improve it.

I also have watched the Brazilian streamer Lude (yes, almost like the game) lately, which has given me ideas for other things that need to be fixed.

Other than that, I've watched like 30 hours of Ludde gameplay on Youtube and Twitch during the week, which has given me great insights into what needs to be improved. Thanks to AchievementHuntersAnon, ToughGamingGuy, EmotionalSupportOtter, and others!

- Added indicators to make it clearer what you are supposed to do in hockey, mogul skiing, biathlon, and the boss fight
- Made it clearer what to do in the laser glass house, and don't trigger the alarm as easily e.g. when standing on windows
- Added another way to get into the closed small fort
- Ludde now can pick up snowballs, even if he's standing close to the sacks in the target practice minigame
- Fixed minor dungeon graphical issues (Steam Deck)
- Smoothed the terrain in the slide conditions minigame
- A few bug fixes
- Lots of other minor improvements

Fixed issue with fairy #5 and #15

We can call this the "Otter update" since a lot of it is fixes of feedback I got from EmotionalSupportOtter when he live-streamed Ludde last week. I've also got very good feedback from other players like ToughGamingGuy via e-mail. Thank you very much!

- Ludde now runs faster
- The game won't be unfocused anymore if the user is primarily using a gamepad but clicks outside the screen. In other words, the camera control will still work.
- Fairies won't disturb you if you are busy with an activity
- Fixed exploit in the touch snowballs before they land minigame
- Made two minigolf holes easier
- Increased jigsaw puzzle table size
- You can now match jigsaw puzzle pieces even if they are rotated incorrectly
- Made it easier to dump all snow by holding the button
- Higher ramp in the ski tricks game
- Improved the AI in the memory game
- Simplified resolution settings
- Added more fire sources you can ignite your wooden sword with
- Added more coins out in the wilderness
- Fixed issue with the "Impatient" achievement
- Lots of other small fixes

This is the first update with a new feauture. You can now wear a backpack and more wearables might be included in future updates. You find it in Ludde's house.

Other than that, there are some big improvments players have asked for.

- You can now double jump when running off ledges (previously you could only do one jump in those cases)
- Wearable backback
- When playing hockey, the aim arrow now rotates vertically too
- Skis now have better grip
- Fixed issue where rollable snowballs sometimes disappeared
- Specific music for some dungeons
- When you start a new game, you now get 5 coins to get you started
- More birds
- Removed the fur option from graphics options menu, it's just too ugly when turned off
- Lots of minor fixes and improvments



Let me know if there are anything you wish for in the next update.

If you feel like the camera rotation is too choppy, now you can make it smoother by adjusting camera smoothing in the graphics options window. I recommend setting it to 3.

We're getting really close to release now! I just updated the game to version 1.0.0, which in other words means that the game is release ready. This Friday (December 1) you can play around with snow, collect stuff, break new records in minigames, and explore the beautiful winter environment while riding (or flying!) a snowmobile.

The lauch trailer has just been uploaded to the Steam page and Youtube, check it out!

The demo has been out for a couple of weeks, since Steam Next Fest October, and I'm very happy to see that many people have downloaded and played the game. As advertised previously the game will be fully translated into Brazilian Portuguese and it has now been implemented, but there is also another all-new translation. The demo can now also be played in German.

To celebrate this I've raised both country flags in-game.

The demo now also supports Steam Leaderboards, which means that you can compare your minigame scores to the Steam Community. I bet you can't beat my highscores.
