Criminal Cat is a relatively short BL VN without any choices or branches. It follows a grumpy wizard, Aster, who lives a reclusive life deep in the woods and brews potions to get by. Aster is taciturn by nature, and he swears he isnt lonely! Hes perfectly fine keeping to himself, thank you very much Until a black cat tumbles down his chimney one day, throwing his whole life into disarray! After taking the black cat in, Aster soon discovers this clumsy kitten is no ordinary feline. He is, in actuality, a young man called Blaise, who has been cursed by a witch to assume the form of a cat during the sunlight hours but why? What did Blaise do to get cursed, and can Aster help him? Itll be a huge pain, but Aster will (reluctantly) do his best. Hell never be able to get rid of Blaise if he cant, and all Aster really wants is a quiet life. Its not like hes going to fall for his catboy companion or anything, right? Right?
Criminal Cat is a pretty sweet and light story, and it doesnt contain any explicit content. The steamiest thing youll find here are a handful of kiss scenes (well, how else are you supposed to break a curse?!) The adorable art is by Ekkoberry, who handled the character sprites, CGs, and the UI! I usually work with multiple artists per project, so having one person manage all of the art-related tasks was a pretty new experience for me. Im really happy with how this VN turned out: I think it looks very cute and cohesive! Please consider checking the VN out if you're interested! It's not that long, so it's pretty cheap! Hello everyone! I'm writing a quick announcement to let you know that my latest VN, Rain and the Wolf, has been released!
Rain and the Wolf is a BL visual novel inspired by Little Red Riding Hood. The story follows Rain, an aloof young man, who works as an apothecary with his father. One day, Rain's father sends him into the woods to gather some herbs, but Rain finds himself entrenched in his childhood memories and wanders off the beaten path. While Rain is resting by the riverside, a sudden storm blows by and he gets caught up in a downpour. In the confusion, he falls and sprains his ankle, and passes out from the pain as the hour wears on. It seems inevitable that Rain will become food for the hungry wolves that prowl the woods, but fortune smiles on him. A passing young man, Zero, finds him, and takes Rain back to his home to recuperate but there's a catch. Zero is no ordinary man. He's a werewolf, and his designs on Rain might not be as innocent as it first seems.
This is a visual novel with choices and branches. Guide Rain, and try to unravel the truth behind Zero without being chomped on. Though (generally) good-natured, it's possible to antagonise Zero, which can result in a couple of pretty grim endings (including one Very Bad Ending). It's easy enough to avoid the bad endings if you don't want to see them, however. If you only read the good endings this story is relatively sweet and light. I would advise people to read the content warnings on the game's page carefully before deciding if they want to check it out, however, as I don't want to upset people by subjecting them to any content they might find upsetting. Hi everyone! I'm making this announcement to let you know that my dark boys love / boys hate visual novel, All Scars and Starlight, has been released!
Scars is a grim story about a deposed king, Yuel, who is taken prisoner by the leader of a rebellion and his older cousin, Tavi. Though Yuel initially despises Tavi for overthrowing him, complicated feelings begin to develop between the pair as Tavi refuses to have Yuel executed, despite the warnings of his advisors. Wanting to keep Yuel safe, Tavi hides Yuel away in the palace where his political enemies cant hurt him - but the biggest threat to Yuels life soon proves to be Yuel himself.
The story has choices and multiple endings, so theres a few different ways it can pan out. Its quite a grim story which deals with topics like self-harm, suicide, and sexual assault, and the main pairing are cousins. The story also contains explicit sexual content, so you need to be 18+ to check it out. Hi everyone! I'm just going to reiterate a post I made on this topic earlier so it'll reach more eyes! I'm writing this announcement to let you know that I've released a free update for Unluckily in Love. This update adds a bonus scenario which can be unlocked after finishing the main game (if you've read the story already, you might need to play through the end of the story again to trigger it). This bonus story is pretty cute and comedic. It's about 30k words long (if you include the optional r18 scenes) and it adds 10 new CGs into the game and a few new achievements. If you downloaded the adult patch already, you will need to redownload it for the update, as the old patch is not compatible with the new version of UIL. In addition to this, I also fixed up a few typos in the main game which were pointed out to me by an eagle-eyed reader, so thank you for that! As always, please feel free to let me know if you've encountered any bugs in the new build (or any typos) and I'll try to fix them in a reasonable time period! - ebi x

Hello everybody! I'm writing a quick devlog to let you know that my most recent visual novel, My Lovey-Dovey Demon, has been released! Yay \o/

I wrote the script back in 2021, and it took me a while to piece the whole story together. The Steam store page was up for over a year before I finally released it, so some people have been waiting on this one for a while haha It might have taken me some time to finish this project, but I tried to use this time to ensure that it's as polished as possible! The main artist, Kimoreen, did a great job with the character artwork, and all of the cute chibi cut-ins by Konayachi are adorable! I also had some help from Harmonie of Asminae Games, who created Reborn a Zombie (available for free on Steam), to do some work on the various visual effects in this VN. That means this VN has some fun effects during the CGs which I've not added to any of my previous projects such as light rays, animated particles, and moving fog. I think it helps the VN pop, and it brings the story to life!
Speaking of the story, it's a pretty cute, light affair which takes a lot of cues from typical BxG slice of life VNs. It's quite chill and relaxed, and there isn't much in the way of conflict (which might be a bit of a rarity coming from me lol), so this should be a good read if you're looking for something cosy. It's pretty similar to The Language of Love in that it's a wholesome BxG romance story, though it has a bit more of a comedy focus like My Dear Prince. Everybody put a lot of effort into this VN, so I hope you all enjoy it! My Lovey-Dovey Demon is a cute story set in modern day Japan with a young male protagonist, Taiki. Taiki is spending the summer vacation at his grandparents' home in the countryside alongside his younger siblings. During his vacation Taiki's sister, the naughty Nene, sneaks into their grandfather's study and starts rifling through his books about the occult. Taiki tries to stop her, and in the chaos, he inadvertently ends up summoning a demon from another realm. This demon has horns, wings, and a tail, dresses in black, sharp teeth... And she also happens to be utterly adorable! This demon, Elisabeth, is immediately attracted to Taiki. Now, he's stuck being buddy-buddy with a cute demon girl, when all he wanted was a bit of rest and relaxation. What's a guy to do?!
My Lovey-Dovey Demon is a romance VN with a male protagonist, which feels pretty rare coming from me. I think the last time I wrote a cute BxG romance story was The Language of Love, so I hope people who liked LoL will be similarly charmed by this story! The premise of My Lovey-Dovey Demon pretty goofy and it doesn't take itself too seriously. Tonally, it's pretty similar to My Dear Prince or Strawberry Vinegar, so anybody who enjoyed those stories might like this. The VN is more or less completed, and its build has been approved by Steam. In Fair Spirits is a sweet and wholesome slice of life story which details the slowly developing relationship between Edmund, a knight from medieval England who finds himself reincarnated into the 21st century for... reasons, and Abel, a peppy goth boy who speaks in incomprehensible internet slang that Edmund can't understand. (Yes, Abel is a Tumblr user. Yes, his dialogue is peppered with various dated Tumblr memes/references from 2013/14. No, I will not apologise for this... Though maybe Abel should lol...) Edmund and Abel might seem like polar opposites but they soon discover they have a few things in common (spoilers: it's trauma). They wind up bonding, and then... Well, this is a romance story, so things inevitably go in a lovey-dovey direction!
In Fair Spirits is actually the third in a series, the first beingThe Fairy's Songand the second beingThe Fairy's Secret. In Fair Spiritsis a direct sequel toThe Fairy's Secret, and it takes place around a year after the events of that story. You don't need to have readFairy's SongorFairy's Secretto grasp what happens here, though, so if you just want BL fluff you can jump straight into this story without any problems. Alternatively, if you're only interested in cute yuri fluff (The Fairy's Song and Secret are both yuri VNs), then you should probably give In Fair Spirits a miss. Marnie and Lisbeth, the lead couple from Song/Secret, do appear here, but their appearances are more like cameos, and they don't have much screentime.
