It's been a long time since the initial release of Far Away Horse. Since then few individuals have managed to find Buckwild. Along the way some feedback has been made about the game and today this update will address it.
Saving now saves the players level. The introduction of the level system was meant to reward you for marching forward in a single session, but it seems that most players want it saved, HOWEVER this comes at a heavy cost...
Buckwild is now 3X the distance away from the player. I've done a lot of internal testing which means smacking the unity play button over and over and over and over to make sure that the game doesn't catch on fire. Buck is so far away from the player that unity is suggesting i not place him there as it causes precision issues, But i don't care! Your ankles will bleed!
Player height has been Increased. some players felt the camera was too low to the ground. This also means i had to adjust the load distance of the grass. This Shouldn't cause any issues... shouldn't.
SWEET GLORIOUS RAYS OF SUCCESS ACHIEVEMENTS. Yeah there's an achievement for finding Buck now. Probably should have been in the game to begin with, but i made the game in 24 hours so idk.
Today we have added a speed boost system to the game.
Players can level up just by walking.
Every level you gain will add a speed boost to your character.
This speed boost will reset when you exit the game so plan for long journeys!
