Here is another update for VariDungeon : Six Leagues Under



This new major update features :
- new optional cave biome with a new ending if you find the right NPC...


- 4 new enemies

- 1 new boss

- 3 new power-ups
- weather effects in certain biomes
- new floor generation algorithm
- different levels in the talent tree

QOL changes :
- new animations
- current build displayed on the map screen
- rooms not yet visited are indicated on the minimap

- better text on the end screen
- Portal Knight boss attack indicator added
- performance increased (again!)
- XP is automaticaly dropped

Bug fixes :
- frog's tongue did not deal damage

Here comes the 0.7 update to VariDungeon: Welcome to the Jungle!

This new major update includes:
- a new playable character: the Berserker! Trade one HP for a temporary attack buff

- a new biome: the Jungle

- 4 new enemies
- 1 new boss

- a new sanctuary system: claim temporary buffs
- a new ending

Introducing the new update to VariDungeon : Shadow Realm !



This major update contains :
- new biome : shadow realm, found between the boss rush and the true last boss


- a new playable character : the Necromancer, who can summon a minion and make it evolve to level 3

- 5 new monsters

- a new trap
- a new drop in breakable elements : shields, which will absorb 1 damage

- new random floors : these floors contains rooms from the desert, ice and swamp floors
- challenge rooms : in these rooms, defeat 3 waves of monsters to get a reward
- new achievements

- the merchant is now between the 2nd and 3rd floors and the 4th and final boss floors

This update adds new tower portals containing portals. The doors are replaced by portals in the corners of each room so try not to get lost in the dungeon !
These new floors feature :
- a new playable character : the Paladin, which uses his book to cast spells around him and heal himself
- 9 new enemies
- 2 new bosses
- 30 new rooms
- a new trap
- 3 new power-ups

In addition to this, the game now features a map of the current floor !
We also made lots of balance changes on the previous enemies (stats changes, visual indication before they attack, ...)

A new minor update is available.
This update adds new achievements and new music tracks for the ice biome ! Will you find them all ?
At the moment, we are working on the next major update and a new home-made game engine to improve the performance of the game.

PS : Here is a hint for the theme of the next major update !

This update adds new ice floors in the dungeon featuring new elements such as :
- 7 new enemies
- 3 new bosses
- new traps and power-ups

There is also a new playable character : the Mage ! Throw fire balls and use your shield wisely to defeat all the dangers in the dungeon...

This update also adds special floors in which you have to find a key to enter in the boss room, and a hard mode ! In this extreme mode, you have to reach the end of the dungeon starting with only two hearts !

Besides Windows and MacOS, Varidungeon is now available on every Linux distribution ! If you are into open-source OS or use a Steam Deck, you can now play our game !
